Alaska's POV:

Two more minutes until Spring Break.  We finished up class 15 minutes ago but Professor Helen doesn't want to "waste our time" by letting us go early.  I've got to run straight home after class to finish up homework so I can have the entire Spring Break with no homework and go to the pack meeting tomorrow morning. Our Alpha just stepped down and gave his title of Alpha to his son, Brayden; therefore, we have a huge mandatory pack meeting in the Pack House at 10am.

I recently moved out of my parents house on the northern side of the pack territory to the western side.  It's secluded and there's no other houses around for about a mile.  I live by myself, other than Jack, my blue heeler.  Jack and I always go on hikes around the woods.  It gives me time to clear my head full of school and work.  I work as a receptionist at a local holistic health(alternative medicine) facility.  All day long I answer phones, check people in and out of their appointments, deal with unhappy customers, and fake a smile.  I've got a severe case of 'resting-bitch-face,' so being a receptionist may not be one of my best ideas.

"Class is dismissed!"

I jump out of my seat and hurry away from class.  The long journey back to my car is roughly a half mile through long, rushed hallways and sidewalks between each building.  The student parking is ridiculously far away from the teaching halls.  Its not the walking that annoys me, its the amount of time I have to spend walking through large amounts of annoying humans.  They all smell horrible.  Half of them don't wash themselves and the other half probably bathe in cologne and perfume.  As a werewolf, the smells are 50x stronger than for the average human.  Lucky for me, I've learned to turn off some of my werewolf senses and dial them down to human capability.

I finally reach my car.  My parents just bought me a new car because my old car was "unreliable" and they wanted me to be able to make the 30 minute drive from my house to theirs at least once a week.  I now drive a silver 2016 Chevy Malibu. I reach into my purse to dig out my keys.  I can't immediately find them so I dump the contents of my purse onto the roof of my car.  No keys.  Fuck.  I peek inside my driver's side window to see if I left my keys in my car.  They're still sitting in the ignition. I try every door and they're all locked.  Fuck my life now I have to call a locksmith.

I pull out my iPhone and hold down the home button until Siri pops up," What can I help you with?"

"Locksmith near me," I wait for Siri's response.  Siri gives me a list of locksmiths and I choose the one nearest to me.  I dial the number and the phone rings.

"Leighton's Locksmithing Services, this is Leighton!  How may I help you?"

"Hi Leighton, my name is Alaska Sanders.  I've locked my keys in my car down at Montana State University and I was wondering if you could send someone to get my keys out for me?"

"Of course!  I can be down there in 10 minutes if you wanna wait by your car for me."

"That sounds great!" I give him the description of my car, my exact location, I end the call and I lean up against my car while I wait.

15 minutes pass and there's no sign of a locksmith.  Another class recently got out and I watch the parking lot once more fill with college-aged individuals.

One in particular catches my eye, Brayden.  He's our new Alpha.  He's a very very very fine looking werewolf.  He's got light brown hair perfectly gelled in place.  His eyes are the brightest, most lime green eyes I've ever seen.  His skin is evenly tanned and his thick muscles protrude out from his perfect skin.

We've only spoken three or four times because he's two years older than me.  This year I'm a sophomore in college and he's a senior.  He's 22.  I watch him pull his keys out of his pocket as he strides across the parking lot towards his white 2016 Chevy Camaro, which is two parking spots down from mine.  My eyes watch him.  Suddenly he looks up and our eyes meet.  He smiles at me, I wave at him and he changes direction and begins walking directly toward me, not taking his eyes off of me.  He's coming to talk to me!  Oh my God.
