Shadow followed the wolves earning several affectionate stares. Auroras nudged her " These wolves are happy to see us" she said shadow nodded and walked a little faster " yeah but I don't think we should be here. " Shadow said sounding nervous. The wolves entered the clearing and followed ash to the center. " Aurora if you wish return to the vampires and tell them shadow is here with me" ash requested. Aurora nodded and took off out of the territory. " what is going on why do I feel as if Reedfury lied to me ?" Shadow asked dismayed. " well that is because he hypnotized you" he said softly.
Shadow was shocked but for some reason she had no doubt he was telling the truth. Ash looked up at the canopy of trees and sighed "It all started last year. Me Reedfury, and Jade were at Reedfury's castle and we were arguing over who had too much territory. I didn't want to fight them but they made that impossible. Reedfury shut me out and Jade relentlassly shoved us away. Now we are waging war about it." Shadow stared at him suddenly thinking about what jade said. Their stories seemed to contradict each other. " so your saying the Silverphantom family is at war?" Shadow asked confused Ash nodded but before he could fully reply a familiar rouge bursted into the clearing causing several alarmed growls from the surrounding wolves. " I can't believe I'm actually helping you but you better hide your mate cause Mr. Furious is on his way to claim her." She said breathlessly. " ok but first are you OK?" Ash asked motioning to a large slice on the side of her neck Jade shook her head " I don't need your help I'll live." She replied and with that she sprinted back out of the clearing.
