There comes a time when we need a break. When we need to think about what we want our lives to be like. What would actually want to do with our lives. But first let me introduce myself.
My name is Alex, and I'm a normal 18 year old girl, who loves a bit of adventure, and there just happens to be this boy. His name is Connor, he has these beautiful blue eyes and soft blonde hair. He's everything anyone could have wanted.
I've had a crush on him since the beginning of High School. Freshman year, we were both in the same homeroom, and some of the same classes. I guess you could say we became friend pretty quickly.
Well, now it's senior year, and Connor is my best friend. He's a brother to me. I knew I could tell him anything, and that he could tell me anything.

Today, was the first day of our last year of High School. I was waiting by the door, of the house I lived in with my dad, and my older brother. I guess you could say that they were both protective, but they had the same trust in Connor that... I had in Connor. They trusted him to look after me when they weren't there, and make sure I got to school safely.
I heard the same honk of a horn I hear everyday. I said my goodbyes, and walked outside and got in the familiar car.
"Good morning, Alex."
"Good morning, Con. What's our music selection today?"
"Ummmm... You pick." A look of surprise came upon my face. I took his phone, and scrolled through his music.
"All Time Low." I looked at him and smiled.
Connor drove off the curb and pulled out into the street. We were jamming out to Backseat Serenade when it happened. A car on the other side of the road came flying at us. Connor had little time to react. Our car flipped over the other car, and we landed on the roof.
*I hope that this was a good beginning!
