Pretty Brown Eyes

    "Hi bae" normani greeted her boyfriend as she walked up to his locker where he was talking to a brunette.

"Alright I'll see you later" Steven said as the unfamiliar girl walked past normani when she walked up

"Wassup Bae?" Steven replied kissing normani on the cheek

"What were y'all talking about?" normani asked curiously

"Oh nothing about the pep rally and the game tomorrow" Steven replied

"Hm" normani replied

"Now come on let's get to class before we're late" Steven said

They walked in the classroom and took their seats as class went by it went by slowly it was finally the end of class but before they were dismissed the teacher had assigned them a new project with new partners.

"Okay so before I dismiss you all today you have a new project that'll involve working with a new partner you've most likely have never worked with before."

"Ughh" the class replies altogether

"Oh stop this'll be a great experience for you guys, so I have the pairings listed off right here" the teacher began to read the names.

"Hamilton your partnered with Jauregui" the teacher announced last

The green eyed beauty looked up from her phone raising her eyebrows at the teacher then looked over at normani who was already looking at her and then back at her phone

"You and your partner will be interviewing each other to learn more about them" the teacher further explained the assignment

Lauren continued to scroll down her tumblr dash not paying any attention to the instructions the teacher was giving while her partner was taking notes as the bell rang for dismissal

"Guess who i'm partnered with?" normani said talking to her best friend of 5 years

"Idk who?" "Is he cute?" Dinah replied

"She and she's pretty cute I guess" normani said

"Who?" dinah asked growing impatient

"Jauregui" normani sighed

"Pretty cute? she's gorgeous!" dinah said

"She is" normani agreed

"So why do you sound a bit disappointed?" dinah asked

"Because she never does any of her work" normani explained

"Well, just let her know that you won't be doing all of the work" Dinah retorted

" You're right thanks D, I'll call you later" normani said hanging up getting in the bed.

"I'm really looking forward to afterschool working on this project with you" the same girl who was talking to steven at his locker yesterday said to steven then winked as normani walked up and heard and wasn't too pleased with her boyfriend's new partner.

"Oh so you're partnered with her?" normani asked

"Yeah"

Normani didn't say anything she just rolled her eyes, steven didn't even notice or care but oddly enough lauren did as she walked in class she noticed normani sitting with her arms crossed across her chest and rolling her eyes

For the last 30 minutes of class the teacher allowed the class to begin brainstorming on their project so everyone got into their pairs and began working on their project.
