On March 17, 2012,"Happy Birthday there my pumpkin," whispered Emily's dad. Yay! It's my 13th birthday, I can't wait to spend time with my family on my lucky day!! In front of me was a big present, so I opened it. It was big, it was giving, and it was breathe taking! Getting a HUGE teddy bear that smelled like chocolates and with a family picture with a picture frame, was the best gift from my dad! My dad went to work. He works for making new building like, banks, houses, towers, ect. I was hanging out with my best friend, Jade. We've been friends since kinder! "Hey mom, when is dad going to be home?" My mom was about to respond, but the her phone was ringing. She picked he phone and answered it. She started tearing up and yelling out, No, No, No. I was very curious on what happened, so ask."Mom are you okay?" I said. After my mom telling my what happened, I began to cry too. Jade had to leave my house. Right when I heard what happened........ I couldn't even look at myself again.
