The next morning I woke up with a storming head ach. I don't drink regularly but I identified this pain immediately; hangover, second day back- great! I got out of bed groaning and rubbing my head, hoping that it would help. It didn't.

As I reached the bathroom I looked and my reflection in the mirror and despite the pain, I smiled. I liked this me, no, I LOVED this me. Happy, Beautiful- I'm not going to lie and oh so in love. My mind played the night back to me as I got ready for the day, I took 2 pills with a huge glass of water and used makeup to make my face look slightly fresher.

It didn't seem to take long to get ready, I wasn't very worried about looking glamorous or gorgeous- as long as Cam thought I looked good; he always thought I looked good.

Again, he met me at my kitchen door, greeting me with a kiss and a hug and telling me he loved me.

Every time Cam kissed me it reminded me of our first kiss, it feels like ages ago but I would never forget it; extremely romantic- almost too good to be true.

We'd just spent the whole day hanging out as friends, talking away, literally telling each other everything about our personalities, interests- everything.

It was dark and extremely hot, we'd decided to take a walk on the beach. As we headed down to the end where the water spilled over the rocks like a washing up bowl over flowing. The noise was so soothing, I felt free and open and just generally relaxed.

He held my hand in his; pulling me closer as he did so. Half way down the beach he stopped, taking my other hand, bringing me into an embrace. He dropped my hands gently and brought them up to my face running them through my hair and holding my head from behind. Cam never broke eye contact until he leaned down and softly touched my lips with his own; I closed my eyes for the passionate kiss that followed.

It lasted a while; I enjoyed ever second of it. As we kissed he brought his hands further and further down my back until touching the small of my back, I rapped my legs around him and he held me up. He fell back leaving me onto of him and I giggled to show my enjoyment. Eventually I rolled onto my side and lay with him, arms rapped around each other.

I'd never had a kiss like that before and I doubt I ever would again. Since, he mentioned it all the time; those two people on the beach he'd say, they started this. It always made me wonder whether or not he meant our love or the relationship itself. I didn't care which he meant; either way the words made my heart pound harder.

My day went by in almost the same manner up until 4th period; people who hadn't had time to introduce themselves to me yesterday did so today, I had a laugh and enjoyed myself, Ellie by my side. But as I walked down the stairs late for my next lesson and scared because I'd lost Ellie whilst talking to Cam in the hall, I rushed and slipped down three steps squealing as I did so. I looked up embarrassed as I realized someone had seen that. He maintained a straight face although you could tell he was dyeing to laugh.

The stranger helped me up and introduced himself, "Hi Chelsea, I'm Alex and your clumsy." He said seriously, revealing a small smile. I laughed and smiled realizing he was till holding the hand he had held to help. I glanced at it and he dropped it coughing embarrassed.

"Hey... and thanks!" I said.

"No problem." He replied awkwardly. I waved a hand and began to walk down the now vacant hallway to my next lesson. I noticed the sound of footsteps rushing towards me and turned to see Alex again. "I was wondering if you wanted to hang out tonight."

"I... have a boyfriend." I told him looking away to make sure I wouldn't see a pained expression.

"No, no, no," he said rushed. "Friends... you can meat a few more people, large group, we're just going to be hanging out around town... if you're busy, that's fine but take me up on the offer sometime, be great to get to know you." He smiled at me, he was nice.

"Thank you, but I did have plans to night," Lie, but Cam would want to know in advance if I was busy. "But hey, here's my number, give me a call sometime and I'd love to hang out." I tore of a piece of paper from my note book and gave it to him, "I should get to class." I smiled again and walked down the hallway.

I heard him murmur "same." And his footsteps heading back in the opposite direction.

I was late; luckily I managed to get changed for Gym fairly quickly catching up to everyone.

In the end I did have plans with Cam- I'd forgotten, we were going to a restaurant down town for him to treat me to dinner, which when I was eating with him, was a small started or a salad. He'd always roll his eyes at me when I'd order and then moan that I'd get to skinny but I didn't mind, I wouldn't want he to see me pigging out. It was stupid; we didn't have any secrets yet I was afraid to eat unhealthy in front of him.

Cam stayed over after watching a movie in bed with me but left early in the morning, kissing me gently on the cheek, leaving it tingly and warm. I felt colder after he left but I knew I'd soon wake up and the same cycle would happen again, the same kind of day. The same happiness; happiness I craved.
