Why do I still love you,
After all that you have put me through
I can't help it,
But to you I am just a puppet.I'm done with the lying,
I can't lay here dying.
Your words cut like knives,
But my love for you thrives.I'm to afraid to speak,
So you mock me and call me weak.
But I still love you,
I'm stuck to you with glueI hide the bruises,
So nobody fusses.
The scars hurt bad,
But without you I'm sad.I tired of being afraid,
I am not just your maid.
I don't want another beating,
I'm tired of this repeating.I just want love,
Without being disposed of.
Can't you hear my cry,
Please I don't want to die.Let's move on,
So this fear can be gone.
I promise I'll stay,
But just another day.
