I woke up, to bright the bright light of the sun shining in through the window and Joe sleeping on his stomach with his naked bum on show. "Oh, how attractive" I rolled my eyes at the sight and covered him up with the bed sheet. It was still quite early in the morning, 7am, so I left him to sleep away last night as I got ready for work. Even though Joe did YouTube for a living and earned a fair amount of money, I still wanted to work and have my own career. I was a manager at a local theatre which involved many draining meetings and 'team building' activities.
I got ready in the bathroom to make sure I diddn't wake him up, then just about managing to creep out into the living room with heels on. Well that was until my bag got caught on the door handle without me realising causing an abrupt fall back into the apartment with a clutter. "Fuck sake" I muttered gathering my things into my bag again, "Babe?" I heard Joe question as his feet pattered along the flooring "Are you alright?" he asked helping me off the floor. "I'm fine, I just got stuck that's all, I tried not to wake you but..." I spoke quickly but stopped in realisation "I did"
Joe let out a laugh as he kissed me on the cheek, "idiot" he giggled down my ear. "Shush you, now go back to bed it's still early" I said while I hugged him goodbye "No, it's alright, I've gotta get a video prepared for. Is it alright if Alfie, Zoe and Marcus come over later?" He asked, or bassically told me that there already coming over so I'd have to agree with him, "Sure, I guess. Tell me earlier next time though please" "Will do" He promised as he walked off back into the bedroom, "See you later" I called back to him as I left the appartment for another day of work.
