Ugh. English class.

I don't even know how I got in this class. It's all so advanced and I can't catch up. Probably 'cause I'm either not paying attention or I don't finish my work.😅

But seriously why do they even have the option for us to have high school credit courses in middle school? I guess thats just me though. Everyone else seems to be doing just fine. A's and B's all over their report cards and everything.

There's some some people in this class that don't belong either. There's a group of girls on the other side of the room who don't fit in at all in with all the intelligent know-it-alls in here.  Theres also the girl next to me. She doesn't belong here with these know it alls cause she's just like me. That's probably why I like her. And she's super hot.

But she's legit the cinderella of the school. I think I have a chance since we flirt a lot but we never went too deep.

I sit in a table of girls in english so... it gets kind of bad. Here's a list of my table. Cause making a whole long paragraph is stupid.

My crush
Name: Alison Cass
sits next to me
• really curly brown hair with blonde highlights, bronze skin, bold features, almond brown eyes
• athletic
•nice
• all the guys are drooling at her feet
•likes to ditch our table to gossip
•always shares food

Annoying tablemate
Name: Diana Villa
Sits in front of Alison
•annoying as hell to me
•straight brown hair, tan skin, soft features, short, brown eyes
• rough
•slow but smart
• can beat anyone up
•only nice to people she likes

Mama bear
name: Melina Gonzalez
Sits in front of me
•Nice to everyone
•wavy black hair, average skin tone, delicate features, brown eyes
•let's out table copy her answers
•tells me stuff Alison told Diana who told her
• loves reading and writing
•sarcastic

Usually me and annoying teammate get into arguments, Alison usualky isn't here and Melina either tells us to start working or she puts in a remark to end the arguement.

"Diana, did you hear about Nico?" Alison told the especially annoying teammate. "Yeah, he broke up with that girl, Cammy, right?" "Yeah, he texted me when he ended it and said it was cause he liked someone else." "Alison, would you like to tell The class what you were talking about with Diana?" The teacher interupted. "Uh, no." Alison said shyly and went back to staring at her book. We all knew she didn't like to read.

Melina and Diana are cousins. Talk about opposites. They're very different but they get along just fine.(most of the time). We all sat right in front of the teacher's, Ms. White, desk.

Right now we're suppose to read this book that the county required us to read. The book was boring and Melina had already told us the ending since she just skipped to the end. Non of us minded since we didn't even like the book so she just told us. We're suppose to read up to chapter 4 but I didn't even bother. I just played with some things I found in my pocket.

Diana was complaining under her breath how boring this was. Alison just stared at the book, thinking about something and we all knew Melina was actually enjoying the book. We spent the whole period reading the book.

2 minutes before the bell we packed up. Alison continued her conversation with Diana and I stood next to my desk waiting for the bell to ring. Melina packed and took out a thick book. "How's the false prince going?" She asked me. Usually she didn't start a conversation with me but she had her moments.

"Uh, good." I respond. She had reccemended me the book when she saw that I was having trouble finding a book for this quarters project. "What page are you on then?" She was reading her book and talking to me. "I think page 32." She looked up at me. "You've got to be kidding me. You got that book last month." "Hey! Not everyone has the time or patience to read a book in a day like you."

"Look who's talking." Her eyes flicked to Alison for a second. It was common knowledge to everyone near our table that I liked Alison. "Whatever. Just make sure you at least enjoy it." I didn't have time to respond when the bell rang. I quickly left, Alison in tow as equally eager to get out of that class. Out of the corner of my eye I could see Melina with her book walking ahead of Diana who was talking to her 'best friend' in the school.

Funny how Diana always dragged Melina everywhere but Melina always ends up ahead. I go down the stairs to my next class careful not to stare at Alison too much.

The rest of the day was just as uneventful as english class. My last period is gym. I have regular gym but theres also a class called H.O.P.E, a high school credit course for gym. And of course Melina is in that class.

We have 2 coaches, Mr. Wild and Ms. Major. Ms. Major does the H.O.P.E classes and Mr. Wild deals with us. Today we're going up against Ms. Major's class of 7th period. They have some of the best players on that team. But we have most of the best players. Another advantage was that we had more people. Guess there's a lot more lazy people than hard working people now a days. Me included.

Anyway, we had uniforms for gym that were black gym shorts and a teal shirt. We're playing dodgeball today. In the gym we have basketball hoops so if you hit the outside, one person out gets in and if you get a ball in the net then your whole team gets back in. At first I was surprised. Their whole team couldn't keep up with our team's fast hits.

The bad ones got out first and then the really good ones got all the attention. At last some medium people were left standing. It was Melina, a tall boy named Michel, a blonde girl named Lilly, and a super skinny brunette girl named Jill. A lot of us threw our balls at them(I tried to aim for Melina but I missed).

Michel and Jill got out while Melina ordered Lilly to stop the balls before they got back to our side. They scrambled to get to any ball near us. They picked most of them up and they charged at us. Like always we all backed away so that we didn't get hit and they shot for the hoop. Most of them hit around the hoop and some of their more bad people came in.

Lilly's last ball was caught by someone and we were scrambling to get the balls they threw. I was about to get down to get a ball but then I heard shouting and whoops from the opposite team. I looked up to see Melina running backwards to the safety of her comrades while some of us threw our balls at her. They all missed and one of their players caught one of the balls that was thrown by our best player.

Nobody won that game. because whenever they were about to lose Melina or somebody else would make a miricale and get everyone back in and win. As always she's the quiet achiever. Sometimes she would throw a ball and usually that person wasn't paying attention and she would get them out.

After they called us into the locker rooms to change and after I finished changing I went to the outside of the gym doors to wait for the bell to signal the end of the day. I wipped out my phone to turn it on when I felt the gym shake.
