"now I'm trusting you Perrie to be the adult here. Your mum and I have been discussing this for weeks, and I've decided to........" he pauses for a long time "I'm gonna give you one of the penthouse villas for the summer" at first I think dad's joking, he would never leave me with such a huge responsibility. My dad owns penthouses in Spain, Miami , Florida and has a branch coming out in Ibiza. He gets good money and never lets me within 2 feet of any of those places. Now I know what your thinking 'your Perrie Edwards from little mix, why are you still depending on your parents?' the thing is I'm not, my mum and dad can't believe that their precious daughter doesn't need them anymore , they just never seem to get that! And it's super annoying! "now I'm giving you £1,000 spending money and you can convert it to the currency when you pick the location you want, you can stay in the penthouse for 8 weeks, free of charge of course" he says rubbing my neck "your only allowed 2 friends though Perrie , ok read my lips 2. I know some kids get all crazy when their parents give them a chance like this, go stupid and throw wild parties every night. Housekeeping only comes twice a week , so I'm relying on you Pez. Don't disappoint me kiddo" "is this the part where you laugh in my face and say its a joke?" I ask him. He shakes his head "me and your mum have decided your old enough now.the private jet, comes for you in two weeks time" he says. I give a small whistle. Private jet! I was liking the sound of that. "Thanks dad" I say hugging him. Hard. "no problems kiddo, I'm downstairs if you need me" he says walking out of my room and I hear him whistling down the stairs. I just planned to go to the cinema pigging out on ice cream during the summer, but my summer sure looks like its looking up!! But only 2 friends were you having a biscuit!! No way, I would of course invite my 3 band mates Leigh-Anne, Jesy and Jade ,my cousin Victoria , my gay best friend victor and my other best friend Danielle, it will be fine as long as dad never finds out......................
JESY'S P.O.V.
I just got a text from Perrie:
DONT PLAN ANYTHING FOR THIS SUMMER, I CONVINCED MY DAD TO GIVE ME ONE OF HIS PENTHOUSES 4 THE SUMMER AND I'M INVITING YOU TO COME , SORRY BOUT THE CAPITALS , IM JUST SUPER EXCITED !!!!!! LET ME KNOW WHETER YOU CAN MAKE IT OR NOTXXXXX PERRIE
It's a group text which annoys me a little, as they are so common , but the thought is sweet . The text is great news! Plus it will help over the recent split from my boyfriend Jordan. Plus I really need some girl time. My shower's broken so I've been taking baths and haven't had an opportunity to wash my hair so it's all oily and my nail beds suck! Yes girl time is what I DEFINITELY need.
I look at my little mix calendar, yeah I know it's kinda sad, that I keep calendar from my own band but I guess I'm just like that!! But anyway I look at it and I realise summer is just 2 weeks away!! 2 weeks, that is not long enough for all the red bits from a bikini wax to heal! Oh well, and I need summer ready clothes, awwww crap! This calls for some urgent shopping time with Jade!............
JADE'S P.O.V.
Jesy is still holding up the 2 outfits "the thing is Jay if I go with the shorts and tank top I'd been cooler but the maxi dress is sexier" she says to me I want to scream! We have been in this shop for over 2 hours, deciding which one to buy " just get them both" Leigh -Anne says from the back of the room. I roll my eyes I forgot she was here, don't get me wrong or anything, she's my best mate just like Perrieand Jesy but all of a sudden, she seems a little clingy, and it's really annoying. Like I get we're band mates and stuff but it's like whoever I turn she's there- wait! That came out wrong, well it didn't but...... Oh forget it!
Jesy shrugs " I don't want to get them both cause I wanted to have some money left for a bikini and some new shoes" she tells us. "ok! Jesy just make up your FRICKIN mind!!! We've been in this shop like 15 years, the outfits look practically the same anyway so just pick one!" I snap. Jesy pulls a face "who squatted on your chips? Did you roll out of bed on the wrong side or something??" she asks "no babe, I'm really sorry for shouting, I just can't take it anymore. I need some sugar!" "I've got pear drops" Leigh-Anne say's. I fake smile and take one out the packet, even though I don't want to "you know what, your right they are the same. I'll go for that orange vest dress over there" she says pointing and goes to find a shop assistant to see if they have one in her size. I grunt and tell them,both I'm waiting for them outside. I can't believe I'm gonna say this, but now I officially hate shopping with Jesy! Please remind me never to do it again!!!................
LEIGH-ANNE'S P.O.V.
"well that was awkward" I say to Jesy once Jade has said goodbye "I mean she hardly spoke to me, kept rolling her eyes when she thought I wasn't looking and just started shouting at you, then we take her to her favourite restaurant and she STILL complains , she's a high mantience bitc-" Jesy covers my mouth "ah ah ah language!" "it's like the hardest I try she still won't bother, do you think I wanted to give her my pear drops? No I didn't! But I did because I thought she was my friend!" I shout "I'll try talking to her" Jesy says but we both know she won't "I'm hoping she's not going on this trip otherwise, I'm gonna flip!" I look at Jesy "I'm serious, I'll erupt like a volcano".................
