The Shadow World

chapter 7

I'm staring at the ceiling in my room. I just lost my best friend Skylar. And I didn't want to but I did. So I called my friends Carly, Liz, and. Audrey. I haven't talked to them in weeks. So I called them and had them come to the insitute. I met them over at the diner first. Then we walked to the insitute. I explained that I was a shadowhunter and they looked at me like I just stabbed them.
"So let me get this straight. You are a half angel half human." Audrey said confused.
"Yes. Yes I am." I said back.
"I'm confused." Liz said and I rolled my eyes. So I explained it again and she still didn't get it so I said "I half angel half human."
I said in a five year old voice. And she looked dumbfounded. And I walked to the other side of the room.
"I have someone for you guys to meet." I said I was nervous I didn't want them to hate Jace.
"Ok let's go met this person." They all said at once.
"Be nice to him please." I whined. I was surprised. So I called Jace and said that I was coming over with my friends.

We get to his room and I knock and he answers. He greets me with a kiss and my friends look and him like what the hell.
"Girls this is Jace my boyfriend." I said while bracing myself for someone to yell at me. And sure enough someone yells at me. It was Liz. She said " What the hell he is ugly and why would you even date him." An that was the day I lost Liz as a friend. Well Audrey didn't say anything about it so I thought she was cool with it and she was but Carly wasn't really to thrilled about it.
"So what do you like about him?" I asked Audrey and Carly and Carly yelled and Audrey smiled she liked Jace. On the other hand Carly was still yelling at me and Jace so we kissed in front her and she stormed out of the room. And I giggled same with Jace and Audrey. I was really happy that Audrey liked him but not like that if she did she wouldn't have head. I love him so much I thought to myself. Just then my phone went off it was Carly.
Carly: I'm sorry for yelling

Me: ya well I guess i can forgive u

Carly: I know I'm sorry

Me: ok wyd

Carly: nothing u

Me: nothing I have to go though

Carly: ok bye

Me: bye

Well I have another friend.

Audrey went how and I went back to my room and I started dancing and drawing. Talk about bored. Just then Jace can in my room and watched me dance. He was standing there for like 25 minutes and he doesn't know I know he was watching me
So I said " Hi " and he got scared and I giggled. I miss scaring him. I walk over to him and I kissed him and his touch was gentle. And I pushed away from him and he left thinking I was mad at him but I was upset. I didn't like being so secret from him I love him more than anything.
