It been a few months since we found out about the quads everyone's really excited even though Cody and Scott almost killed him for it. My mom was excited she helped Carter set up the nursery. The girls all loved them. They can't stop touching my stomach they have a strange obsession with it. Carter has been amazing he tells them he loves them every night and kisses my stomach. Since this is a werewolf pregnancy with an Alpha it goes by fast I'm two months pregnant I only have two more to go. I'm the size of a whale my belly is huge it makes everything difficult. Carter can't wrap his arms around me any more I just want them out.
I walked out of the bedroom and started down the stairs which is a bigger task than it seems ever walk down the stairs holding a laundry basket its like that only I can't move my stomach. I finally walked down the stairs and to the kitchen and started cooking dinner for everyone.
I heard the door shut I turned around to see who it was "Hey babe" Carter greeted with a kiss.
"How was your day" I asked and continued to cook
"It was good had to deal with some Alpha business" he sighed and attempted to wrap his arms around me.
"Nice, babies have been kicking non-stop I think we have some athletes in here" He laughed at me "Taking after there daddy" We smiled.
"So the nursery is ready. Want to go see? Kendall can take over cooking for you" I looked over to Kendall had just walked in she nodded.
"Yea sure" We walked up the stairs and into the nursery.
It was beautiful the special crib was in the middle it was a circle of cribs all connected. There was a rocking chair in the corner next to the changing table there was a cupboard full of bottles and pacifiers. The closet was filled with diapers and baby clothes. The room was painted a teal color with each of the babies names painted on the wall and a space to add their foot prints. All in all it was beautiful. I turned around and hugged Carter and started crying.
"Are you okay babe if you don't like it we can change it don't cry babe please" Stupid pregnancy hormones.
"I love it baby, these are tears of joy" I told him trying to make him feel better.
"Do you want to go to our special spot?" Carter asked it been a while so I decided we should.
"Yes" I replied
We walked out of the nursery and down the stairs.
"Babe do you want me to run up and grab you a coat?" Carter offered "Thanks babe" I kissed his cheek and ran upstairs returning with my coat.
"Since it's a far walk and you can't shift. Can you get on my back after I shift?" I nodded.
Carter started to strip I turned around to give him privacy. I heard a playful growl I turned around and saw a black wolf. I threw my leg over him and grabbed his fur as his started to take off. The wind was blowing in my hair it was so peaceful. We started to slow down when I realized we were already at the lake. I got off him and waited for him to shift back so we could go through to the pond. Since we have to be touching to go through.
"Babe" I turned around to see a hot shirtless Carter.
"Come here so we can go through" I walked over to him to grab his hand. "I can see it" he exclaimed.
I turned around "What?" how can he see it.
"I think since we mated and became one I can now see it" He smiled
"I love this place I would live here if we could" I sighed and sat down on the grass.
Carter bent down and kissed my head "Tag you're it" he exclaimed and ran away.
I managed to get up off the ground and tried to chase him which wasn't working well with a pregnant belly. I let out a huff and sat back down on the ground. I began to "cry" he came running over towards me.
"Are you okay I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you cry" I made him help me up before I tagged him again.
"I'm going to get you" he exclaimed I took off running before he could get to me.
"Babe where did you go?" Carter said sounding worried
"Are you blind? I'm right in front of you" I said getting annoyed.
"Um babe your not here is this another one of your power like the mind reading" He asked maybe he's right I tried to think of being visible like when you vision a wolf when we shift.
I was engulfed into his arms "There you are babe I'm not letting you go again" he exclaimed
What is with these powers? I'm so confused.
