~*~Chapter 3~*~ Harmony and Melody

"Irene..."
"Sister..."
"H-how are you here?...the portal...you closed the portal leading from your dimension to the earthen world..to stop the Shadow Knights.....h-how are you here"
"I was watching you (lol stalker sorry I'll leave)... I saw the choice you made... Melody... you take a huge risk... and I am thankful.. We can't lose my last descendant..like the others..."
"They fought well... Luna, Winter, Annabelle, and Silvia..."
~Flashback~---------------------–-----------------------------------------------------------------------
The four girls, Irene, and Melody were in Irene's temple, on a fairway island hidden away in the corner of the earth.
It was there only chance...to keep the Shadow Knights from attacking them...Melody was cradling her new born baby, Aphmau. They couldn't let them get to her, not know, not when she wasn't ready.
"Irene can you sense anything near?" Asked Melody
"No, I can not" replied Irene
"Nor can I " Annabelle said
"What should we do when the Shadow nights come..." Said Winter worriedly
"Well we can't let them hurt any of the citizens of this country, we must protect it with the best of our abilities"Luna said with determination
"Agreed" said Sivil "nor shall we be provoked by anger, that's what fuels them to keep going"
"Waaaaaa *sniffle sniffle* waaaa" cried Aphmau
"Oh my she's crying again" Melody said as she rocked her little baby back and forth
"Why don't you sing for us Melody, you are the voice of harmony, we all need something to think of other than... what's going to come"
*Melody blushed and turned pink* " Well I guess it wouldn't do any harm to sing a little"
"Yea go for it!" The 4 girls cheered
"Sigh. Well here I go"

Then a big BOOM came from no were and caused the temple to shake
"Oh no! There here!" Cried Luna
" Melody you must leave, protect her, don't worry about use we'll hold them off" said Winter *shooting a ray of light towards the entry way
"No I can't leave you!" I shouted
" Don't worry we'll reunite once it's safe" said Annabelle , nearly in tears but tried to hide it
"We'll miss you" said Sivil " now go don't waste anymore time, Irene you go with Melody too"
"B-but I ca-" " no we can't risk you getting hurt either! Now go!"

Back to the present~~~
Melody's POV
She hadn't realized she was crying, until Irene stepped towards her and brushed a way a tear
"I could've stayed...and helped them.... they would've been still here today if it wasn't for me" my voice cracked
"Melody don't think that way.. they made a choice, followed their own path, don't dishonor them by feeling guilty.. they fought for you." Irene smiled blinking back tears
"Here I brought you a gift"
Irene cupped her hands and blew into her empty palms
Butterflies started to briskly fly from her hand and circle around them
There were so many colors blue, pink, red, purple, green, every color and shade you could've thought of
They all flew around them then spiraled into a funnel cloud and became one butterfly it self, with its shining golden wings that reflected many different colors. It floated down to the cupped hands of Irene and sat in her palm looking as content as ever.
My eyes widen with aww "wow.." I breathed
Irene smiled and place the golden butterfly in my hair " a token from me"
I smiled at her" you and your magiks " I winked at her
" well you know me " she winked back
" well I better get going, oh here I forgot,I have something for Aphmau also"
She handed me a golden chain bracelet with many different charms on it.
" Every individual charm has a special ability, she'll learn how to use it... Once she... Alone"
Tears started to form in my eyes again "T-thank you so much, you the best sis I could ever have"
I started to cry and Irene held out her arms and hugged me she had tears also in her eyes
"You give me more hope than anything I can make little sissy"
We hugged for how long I never knew we stared at the sunrise a the bright ball of light awakened the land
" well I must go now.."
"...I will miss you very much"
" I know...."
And she started to glow brighter and brighter
When she was about disappeared I said " oh and thank you for coming to visit..I really need it"
From the glowing ball of energy I could see her wink at me "Farewell Melody, may the sister hood continue" she raise her arm and pointed a finger to the sky, I did the same, then she disappeared in a explosion of color causing everything to grow and thrive peacefully.

One last tear fell down my face as I reached for the golden butterfly. As I held it a harp started to play, the I heard the song that I once sung before. I smiled "thanks sis" and started at the rising sun as the big day began.
