Kallie's POV

I stood there staring at my parents for what seemed like forever. Wow. I was moving to FRANCE!! I didnt know what kind of emotion to feel. I was kinda excited to be moving to europe, but also heartbroken that i would have to leave my friends. Speaking of friends, i forgot caroline was in the room with us. I wonder how she is feeling right now. "wow dad. moving to france. that's really far!" i said. "i know honey, but this is a great oppertunity." my dad said. "well congratulations mr. wilson. i know you all will have a great time in france." caroline said. "thank you caroline. i know you will miss kallie, but it will only be for 6 months to a year." my dad said. i turned to look at caroline, she looked really sad. Thanks dad, way to go. "sweetie, i dont think that's helping." my mom said. at least somebody realizes that. i just thought about me and my brother. oh yea, i have an 8 year old brother named michael. let's not even talk about how annoying he is. "wait, mom. what kind of school will me and micheal be going to?" i asked. my mom looked at my dad with a face that said: you tell her. now im scared. "honey, there is one more thing i need to tell you." my dad said. "what is it?" i asked. "you and michael aren't coming with us to france." my dad said.

(i was gonna stop there, but i decided not to do that to ya'll again! your welcome! lol!)

for the second time in about 30 minutes i stood staring at my parents completely shocked! What do they mean we aren't coming with them? where else would we go. we can't go live with out grandparents in maryland. we've tried that. lets just say its not the best place for an 8 year old to live. and i know my parents wouldn't seperate us. "so if we arent going with you, then where are we going?" i asked. this time my mom answered. "well since michael is still finishing up with his baseball season, he is going to stay with greg and his family until the season is over." "ok. but you still haven't told me where i was going to stay." i said. "well, i dont know if you were too young to remember but, i have a close friend in washington named claire." my mom smiled. i do kinda remember her. i think she has a son around my age that i met once or twice. "yea, i remember her." i said. "well we called her and she said she would love to have another daughter and eventually another son. she said she has plenty of room." my mom said. "ok. that shouldn't be too bad. how long should it be till the end of michael's season?" i asked. "about 2-3 weeks tops." my dad answered. ok. i shouldnt have to go too long without my brother. even though i called him annoying, i love him to death. "can i ask a question?" caroline asked. "of course sweetie, your family." my mom said. "how long do i still have with my best friend?" she asked while hugging me. i am going to miss her soo much! "well steve has to start working in 5 days, but we have to leave in 2 so we can find somewhere to live by then." my mom said. caroline nodded her head. "so next question. when does the plane leave?" i asked. "tomorrow at 7:30." my dad said.

but yea. that's it. i tried to make it longer. sorry it still ended with a cliffhanger.
