Chapter 46

I woke up when Matthew got up for work but went back to sleep when he left. When i woke up again i was sick to my stomach i ran into the bathroom leaning over the toliet.

I wiped my mouth and stood up. I grabbed my phone to see what time it was. When i seen it was only eight i called Jillian.

I asked her to bring me a pregnancy test and i would pay her back. I walked into Landons room to see him with his hand in his mouth. I smiled and walked over to him.

"Are you ready to get out of there?" i ask him he continues chewing on his hands i chuckle and lift him out. I put him on his changing bed and changed him i put a white onesie on him that had a black mustache on it i put a pair of Jeans over the onesie.

I put his socks on him along with his shoes so i didn't have to put them on him if i needed to run somewhere.

I carried him downstairs and put him inside his playpin. He just laid there staring at the ceiling. I went into the kitchen and just got a bowel of cereal.

I sat on the sofa and started eating. I was making his bottle in the process. I put my bowel to the side and picked him up while shaking his bottle and started feeding it to him.

I heard a car door close and Ruth ran in with Nakisha and Jillian behind her Nakisha was chasing her while Jillian shut the door putting Alex down. He was kind of walking now.

Ruth ran over to me sitting next to me. "Baby" she said pointing to Landon. I nod and Nakisha stands in front of me smiling. "Take him" i said holding him out to her she claps like a six year old and grabs him and continued feeding him.

"Here, why do you need this?" Jillian said handing it to me. I take it before saying. "I just need to check" and walked into the bathroom. I washed my hands and sat on the toliet seat waiting for it to get done when it was done i walked back out.

-Matthew's P.O.V-
I was in a meeting when my phone started going off i looked at the caller ID to see it was Lilly. "Will you excuse me i need to take this" i said they nod and i walk out putting the phone to my ear.

"Hello?"
"Hey how late are you working?" she ask's. "I don't know hopefully not to late why is everything okay?" i ask a little worried. "No everything's fine but when you get home can we talk?" i furred my eyebrows but said yes. "Yeah hey I'm in a meeting babygirl I'll call you later okay i love you bye"

"I love you to" she said and hung up. I walked back into the room and started thinking about what she wanted to talk about.

Hoping she wasn't about to pack up and leave again. The meeting went by and i Went to tell Sarah i was going home. "I gotta get home I'll see you tomorrow" i said she nods and i walk into the elevator.

I walked out to the car and got in i waited a minute before starting the engine and driving home.

It was around four thirty when i pulled into the drive way i seen Nakishas car parked in front of the house. I got out walking up the steps.

The door opened to Ruth running out giggling she ran up to me and i bent down picking her up. I carried her back inside with me. She was playing with my tie when everyone stopped talking and looked at me.

I stopped and raised an eyebrow at them Lilly bit her bottom lip and smiled. I sat Ruth down as they continued staring at me.

Nakisha was playing with Landon i walked over to her and she slowly looked up at me. I smiled and reached out for him. Her jaw dropped.

"I just got him back from Jillian" she pouted.

"And i just got him back from Lilly yesterday so hand him over"  i smiled she sighed and gave him to me. I sat on the couch next to them. He smiled at me and i smiled back.
