It all happened so quickly one moment our parent were together and happy and the next thing you know my dad confesses to cheating and tears our family apart.
I hate him. I hate hate him for doing this. He might as well has stabbed us in the back and twisted the knife. How could he. He told my mother he lover her everyday for nearly twenty years but if he really did why would he ever cheat on someone he loves? He's lost everything now. And I can't say I feel sorry for him. He deserves everything he gets!
My mum's in pieces. She was so in love. She cried all the way to the airport in the cab. And she still is now on the plane to London. We're going to live with are grandparents for a while well me and my little brother Mason are. Mum has to go back to the states to do some legal stuff before we can officially live in the UK.
I've always dreamed of going to London. My mum grew up there after all. But not like this, not because u have to runaway from my own father.
A jab in my arm snaps me out of my day dream. I turn over to see Mason poking me with his finger. "Is she gonna be okay?" He asks nodding towards toward my snoring mother. She has mascara streaks and bed hair. I know the answer he wants. He wants her to be fine and be back to her normal self again. But I can't lie to him. So I shake my head honestly. I feel a a burning tear slide down my face.
And that's when the alarm started blaring!
