Chapter 3
Jordan's POV
I've been in this school for a week and finally people have forgotten about my episode on my first day. People have stopped staring and I've become just another student. That's what I've wanted from the start. I was sitting at lunch, listening to Sky and Andy talk.
"Hey, I have an idea!" Andy exclaimed, causing me to pick my head up and look at him. "Why don't you guys come to my house after school?" He suggested.
"Yeah! I haven't been to your house in so long!" Sky smiled.
"What do you say Jordan?" Andy asked me.
"I'd have to ask my parents."
"Okay." He smiled and I pulled out my phone. I sent my dad a text, asking if I could go over to Andy's. He quickly replied with a 'yes' and I put my phone away. I looked up to see them both looking at me with anticipation.
"He said I could." I told them and they cheered, high fiving each other.

I met up with Andy and Sky at his locker after the last bell of the day rang.
"I walk home. I hope that's okay." He said and I nodded. We walked out of the school and started walking towards his house. It was a small sidewalk so I had to walk behind them as they talked. That was fine with me. I wasn't much of a talker.
We came to a normal sized, 2-story house and started walking up the driveway.
"I apologize in advance about my mom." Andy said to me as he opened up the front door.
"I'm home!" He called as we walked into his house and he closed the door behind me. A few seconds later, a woman in her mid-40's came into the entryway where the three of us were standing.
"Hi hun, hi Sky." She smiled, hugging them and stopped when she came to me.
"Mom, this is my new friend, Jordan." Andy explained.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Amy." She smiled, hugging me as well. "Where did you move from?"
"Maine." I told her.
"Oh, well welcome to Ohio." She smiled.
"Thank you." I said.
"We're going to go up to my room." Andy said, as him and Sky headed towards the stairs. I followed them up, following them around the corner to his room. It was covered in posters of rock bands and pictures of him and his parents and him and Sky. I noticed there were a few instruments placed in one of the corners of his room.
"Let me hear you play something" I said with a smile. He looked over at his instruments and sighed.
"Yeah, I agree!" Sky exclaimed.
"Fine, take a seat on my bed." He said, dropping his backpack and going over to his instruments. Sky and I dropped our bags as well and sat on his bed. He turned around, picking up his guitar and sliding the strap over his head, letting the strap rest on his shoulder. He started playing Smoke On The Water, aka, the song everyone knows how to play. Sky grabbed a pillow from his bed and threw it at him.
"BOO!" She yelled at him.
"Play something real!" I said.
"Fine." He groaned. He started playing another song and he was so good. I watched as his fingers moved on the frets. He finished and smiled at us. We clapped and he bowed.
"What about something you've written?" Sky suggested.
"Yeah." I agreed.
"No, they're not good." He said.
"You shut up. They are amazing." Sky protested.
"Fine." He groaned He cleared his throat and took a deep breath. He began to strum his guitar, keeping his focus on hitting the right chords. He began to sing a couple of seconds into the song. Since his voice was so deep, I didn't expect his singing to be great, but it was almost flawless. He sang so smoothly and clearly, it was amazing. He finished and looked up at us, biting his lower lip.
"That was amazing!" I exclaimed as blush rose on his cheeks.
"Was that a new song?" Sky asked.
"Yeah, I've been working on it for a while."
"Well, it was amazing." She smiled. He thanked us and put his guitar away, joining us on his bed. We talked for a while when the room started spinning. I tried to focus on one thing but the room was just spinning too fast.
"Jor-" Andy said but I lost my hearing halfway through. They surrounded me and I pushed them away, trying to standing up but falling to the ground. They helped me to my feet and I saw their mouths moving, but heard nothing.
"Stop." I said and they closed their mouths. I started to feel nauseous and took a deep breath. "Where's your bathroom?" I asked Andy. He helped me walk to it and I dropped to my knees, spilling the contents of my stomach into the toilet. Sky held my hair while Andy rubbed my back.
I finished and rested my back against the wall, putting my head into my hands. I started sobbing. I couldn't believe this happened the first time I go over his house. He's never going to invite me back over. He's not going to want to be my friend anymore. I looked up and the two were still trying to get my attention.
"Stop." I said again and they stopped talking. "I can't hear." I said, pointing to my ear. "Can you get my phone?" I asked Andy and he nodded. He stood up and walked out of the bathroom, returning a few seconds later with my phone. I sent a text to my dad that said 'pick me up now, it happened'. I also sent Andy's address and then locked my phone. I continued to sit on the bathroom floor, the room still spinning but slower.
Ten minutes later, my dad texted me that he was outside. I grabbed onto the tub and tried to stand up, but Andy had to help me. Sky grabbed my bag as Andy helped me down the stairs. Andy helped me out of the house and into my dad's car and Sky gave me my bag. My dad waved at them and drove away.
By the time we got back to my house, I was back to normal. I went up to my room and collapsed on my bed. My phone buzzed and I saw it was Andy asking if I was okay. I sent him a message that said I was sorry for what had happened and went to sleep.
