~Blakes pov~
It was seven something in the morning when i woke up to the sound of a cars alarms going off and a cold chill on my back the feet. I opened my eyes and a blinding light hit me and the screaming cars alarm giving me the worst headache imaginable. When my eyes finally ejusted to the light i could see straight out the top of their bedroom roof a red dest fulling the air.
"JACK HOLY F*CK GET UP DO YOU SEE THIS" i shout in panic as i push him off hes bed nearly through a hole in the floor. "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?" I yell helping him get up then grabbing mine and Jacks school bags and running down stairs to full the bags with water and food, then i run to my wardrobe and grab to jumps and an old blanket from the bottom shelf.
I try and open the front door but there is something on the other side making it impossible to open. The windows are all broken so i try the back door, it finally opens so i grab Jack and the bags and run outside.
Theres broken house and trees everywhere and even a dead body outback of our neighbors, its Mrs Code dead. I feel like crying worried about that we'll find next but as i look at Jack he is already crying enough for the both of us so i pull him into a quick 2 second hug then grab his arm and pull him towards the front yard. I can now see what was blocking the door, our dads car that's what cars alarm woke me but as i look closer my eyes start to water our dad is half way through the back car window life less. Jack hasn't seen yet so i run down the street before he can.
What has happened there everything is destroyed people and animals dead no one around but me and my brother. I'm so confused but right now all i need to do is find somewhere safe and not totally destroy for us to rest.
