Hey guys! Dreamerlover8 here saying, here's a new book idea I came up with in class and wrote down in my notebook. I'm going to upload chapter by chapter every other day (unless I don't have a new chapter completely ready for that day.) so yeah, get ready. My friend kind of stole my notebook then vandalized it today, so I figured I'd better get it down on here before anything else bad happened to it... And it was illegible. She's pretty destructive... So, I'll let you read now! :)

I hopped out of the car almost eagerly. I was finally going to that fancy boarding school I'd been begging my parents to let me go to for months. What I didn't realize was that, It was not going to be what I expected at all.

I walked up to the building. This is going to be so great! I thought. I opened the massive oak door and stepped inside, my blue tote bag in hand. I looked around and immediately noticed what looked like half of the school, younger than me or slightly older than me. I am 15, a Sophmore, single, and living a good life.

I began to make my way over to the massive gathering. I found an empty seat and looked around, but everyone seemed to be ignoring me. I saw a readheaded girl who looked about my age, wearing tight jeans and a low-cut tanktop paired with wedged flip-flops. She was turned completely around in her chair talking to another girl, this one blonde with a small nose and freckles, who is wearing something similar. They are grinning and giggling. I take a look in the other direction and see a bunch of guys wearing letterman jackets gathered around something. A cell phone maybe?

Suddenly, I feel a tap on my shoulder. I immediately turn around to see a hazel-eyed girl with auburn hair, high cheekbones, and freckles. Her full lips moved and she said,

"Hi! I'm Miranda!" she looks like a giggly and easily excitable person. Not the kind I'd normally pick for a friend, but at least she's not hostile. I didn't want to upset her, so I responded, very squeakily,

"I'm Michelle."

"OOH, I've always liked that name!" Miranda said excitedly, "You looked lonely, so I thought I'd come over and introduce myself.

Right when I was about to respond, a high-pitched note of microphone feedback cut me off, and everyone turned around in their seats to face the stage, covered their ears and made pained noises.

"Good morning, students!" a fairy-like woman with a black pixie-cut said. She was standing on the huge stage in front of us speaking into the microphone that made the feedback. "Welcome to Cherrywood High School for another glorious, wonderful year! I hope you find your dorms to your liking. I am Ms. Fisher. Any new students, please meet me in the library this evening at 6:30. There you will recieve your campus maps, class schedules, and rules lists. We want all of you to have a wonderful year. You may now go to your dorms."

As the crowd dispersed into various different hallways that were marked A through F, Miranda began our conversation again,

"So you're new here?" she asked in a cheery manner.

"Yes." I mumbled. I wasn't too sure about this yet. There are still a million people I have yet to meet.

"That's cool. I remember my first year here. I was so nervous because I knew I wouldn't know anybody, so I wasn't sure anybody would like me. Now I've made friends with just about everybody here!"

As if on cue, the petite blonde girl I saw earlier passed by and said, "Hi Miranda!"

"Hey, Ashley!" Miranda responded. They passed without another word.

"So, anyway, what's your dorm number?"

"Um, C-35." I said. I must be gaining confidence back.

"NO WAY!" Miranda says excitedly, "I'm C-34! We're like neighbors!"

"Awesome!" I agree with a smile.

"Follow me!" Miranda yells. She grabs my hand and takes off. Soon, we approach two white doors, one with a sign reading 'C-34' and the other with a sign reading 'C-35'

"Well, I guess I'll leave you alone now." Miranda says, walking into her dorm room and closing the door behind her. I lean against te purple wall in the hallway and let out a sigh before turning and opening my own dorm.

What did you think??? :) Do you think Michelle and Miranda will love each other, or hate each other? How would your reaction to Miranda be??? I promise, most of my chapters are longer than this. Also, check out Haley Bowman's books! I can't remember her username at the moment, so I'll just write it in the comments! :D
