First Encounter

~Dipper's P.O.V~

"Mabel! Hurry up, we need to go explore. We haven't been here in forever." I yelled from the front door of the shack.
"Okay, okay! I just have to make sure I look irresistible, so my ex summer romances will come crawling back." Mabel said while walking down the stairs. I rolled my eyes and sighed. "Come on, slow poke! Bloop!" Mabel yelled as she knocked my hat off and ran outside.
"Hey!" I yelled and ran after her.

*Five Minutes Later*
"Dipper, could you stop walking so fast!?" Mabel yelled from behind me.
"I found some tracks that look... Human. No one comes out this far into the forest, Mabel." My eyes widened as realization came over me. "That dangerous shapeshifter must've escaped!" I exclaimed. I quickly dug through my backpack to find the 3rd journal that Uncle Ford remade for me after Bill destroyed it. "Yeah yeah, that could be it OR my love Mermando figured out a way to grow legs and he's trying to find me!" Mabel yelled happily. I rolled my eyes, "You're delusional." She groaned. "Whatever Dipper, you're just all depressing about love because Wendy still isn't into you." She said with a smirk. That did hurt a little, but I focused back on mission. I heard a bush shaking up ahead. "Come on, Mabel!" I said and ran toward the noise.

             ~Your P.O.V~
"Woahh, is that a fairy?" You mumbled to yourself. As you tried to stand on your tippy toes to see better, you fell backward into a bush. "Mabel, there it is!" You heard a male voice yell. Then something, no, someone fell on top of you. "Dude, get off of me!" You yelled, not fond of being crushed.
"Sorry, sorry, we thought you were a shapeshifter." He said while offering a hand to help you up. "Unless you are the shapeshifter!" He exclaimed and snatched his hand away causing you to fall back into the bush.
"Dipper! What is wrong with you!? She's obviously not the shapeshifter!" A girl yelled and helped you up. You observed the two. They were obviously twins, both very tall, probably about 6 ft. They were both scruffy haired and brown eyed. The guy had a hat on with a pine tree, he was pretty cute in your opinion. "I'm Mabel and this is my brother, Dipper." The girl, Mabel, said while motioning to Dipper. "I'm Y/n. By the way, um Dipper, the shapeshifter is dead, so no need to worry about that." You said. He blushed when you said his name, then his eyes widened. "Wait, what!?" He exclaimed, shocked.
"Yeah, I was exploring one day and I fell down to this underground cave. It attacked me and I pushed it into a tube in which it suffocated." You said while showing him a necklace with it's tooth.
"Wow.." He mumbled.
"Well, anyway, do you wanna come to the shack and hang out?" Mabel asked excitedly.
"Sure." You said with a smile.
