- Chaera P.O.V -

I checked my look for the last time on the mirror. I let out my black silky straight hair hang freely without being suffocated by a hair tie. Makeup? I just did thin eyeliners and applied glossy lip balm on my lips. The color doesn't stand out much so the teachers won't found out. I picked up my school bag from my messy 'un-tidied' bed. I checked my phone for new messages and there are only from my best-friend-since-childhood, Kogyeol.

Kogyeol : We still have time so why don't we catch something to fill our empty morning stomach? You know the place ;)

I replied,

Me : On my way ;)

I went to the usual place where Kogyeol and I usually have breakfast. It's a western style restaurant in the area. The place is quite hidden so new customers would always lost their ways getting there. I remember when Kogyeol and I lost our ways when we were in 6th grade. We took the wrong path to the restaurant and we ended up in front of a 'fortune-teller' place. The fortune teller noticed us getting lost and told us the directions back. But before that, she read our fortunes for free. Kogyeol got to live a long life and so do I, she also said that we'll be together for a long time but I'm not sure if it's in a 'romantic' way or a 'friendship' way.

"Morning" I greeted Kogyeol as I took a seat in front of him.

Now that I think about it, we've been friends for over 10 years but I don't have any special feelings for him except being just 'bestfriends' and I guess he feels the same way too. I dated boys before but Kogyeol didn't date anyone, or so I guess. Although he's so popular among the girls with his manly and handsome face and kind personality, he seemed uninterested in relationships or love itself.

"Hey" He smiled, looking so handsome and all.

We're not the only ones here, we're sitting on the corner and at the other corner, two women are enjoying their morning coffee and meal. They both seemed like college students judging from their appearance and stuffs. Sitting near the cashier is a guy wearing a suit without the cardigan on. He's typing words into his laptop and also sipping a cup of coffee and mouthful himself with a spaghetti bolognaise. Two tables beside us sat a white haired grandmother enjoying her cup of tea and a certain bowl of soup.

"Did you ordered mine already?" I asked.

"Yep, oolong tea for you, are you on a diet again?" He answered and asked me back.

"U-huh, I've gained weight, My body needs to be perfect" I winked at him on my reply.

"Lee Chaera-ssi, do you know there's a saying that nobody's perfect?" He tried formally speaking.

"I'm gonna be that 'nobody'" I smirked at him and we laughed.

This is us. We talk together, we share stories together, we make jokes together, we laugh together, we had fun together, we feel sad together and we do all things together. Sometimes the main reason I broke up with my ex(s) is because they feel jealous of me being close to Kogyeol or that they say I'm a cruel woman for caring more about my friend than my boyfriend. But I don't care much. As long as I have Kogyeol, I'll always be happy. I always feel very comfortable and warm around him but I don't know if this is love I'm feeling or just a feeling of friendship.

"You are already very beautiful, Milady" He 'princely' talked.

"And you are very handsome, Prince Charming" I played along with his joke.

We finished our meal and Kogyeol paid for it since he lost to rock-paper-scissors.

We are nearly at the school and other students are already filling the walkways. Some girls were already fangirling on Kogyeol and some guys were also already hitting on me. Oh, I forgot to mention. Kogyeol is quite popular among the girls and you can also say that I am also quite popular with the boys. We both also had the tittle Prince and Princess and soon to be King and Queen of the school. Funny huh?
