The New Girl

First Day of School

Abby's Pov

Today was my first day of school at Eastern High. I was very nervous, I didn't even know anyone at the school. All my friends were at my old school. "Don't worry honey, you will be fine, you will meet great friends", my mom said trying to comfort me. I was very upset with my mom for transferring me to this school because of her stupid job as a marine biologist.

A few minutes later the car stopped and my mom let me out of the car and drove off. I looked up at the big sign saying 'EASTERN HIGH '. Butterflies were in my stomach but I walked off anyways. I looked at my direction paper and began to walk to my locker. Bump I crashed into a girl and my books fell on the floor. "I'm so so so sorry", I cried out. "Next time watch where you're going", she replied. "Um, I-i'm Abby, I'm new around here", I told her nicely. "Oh, I'm Carla, I'm the fabulous queen around here, my great grandfather made this school", she said boastful. "Ok", I said as I got up off the floor. I brushed off myself as she walked away. I walked to my locker and put some of my books inside. I looked at timetable, my first subject was science so I took out my science book.

Ting Ting Ting

The bell rang and it was time for science. I looked around for class A16 and I found it. I walked inside the classwork and everyone except Carla started to stare. "What's your name beautiful?" A boy asked. I blushed a bit. "I'm A-Abby", I stuttered. "I'm Randy", he said smiling. He was going to say something else when the teacher came in the classroom. We all stand at her presence. "Good morning students", she said. "Good morning Mrs. Anthony", we replied. "Please sit", she said and we took our seats. "Ok class, today we have a new student with us, her name is Abby Brown", she said. I stood and introduced myself to them and sit. "Please be nice to Abby and now you will all introduce yourself to her",Mrs. Anthony continued. "Oh and one more thing, I want Troy to show Abby around, could you do that for me Troy?" She asked. "Yes Mrs. Anthony", Troy said. I looked around to see who was Troy. He was a cute brown boy with dreamy eyes and brown messy hair. He was breath-taking. He smiled at me and I smiled back. Mrs. Anthony marked the register and the science teacher came in. Her name was Miss Miller. "Ok children, so I'm sure that you are aware of our new student, she is very intelligent, before she came to this institution she took class so she knows all that we have learned since the school year began, she is a fast learner too", she said.

"Hi babe", Carla said as she kissed Troy on his cheeks. "Hey", he replied sweetly. "Come on, let's buy lunch", Carla said. "I'm can't, I'm have to show Abby around", Troy said pointing at me. "Really?" Carla asked. "Yup", Troy and said together. We walked around the school and talked as he showed me around. It was fun and he was fun.

About 30 minutes later we bought lunch and sat together then we began to eat. My first day here was kinda fun. I told him how I got to this school and stuffs. I trusted him even though I didn't know him that much. He was just so cool and cute. I couldn't stop admiring him.

"How was school today sweetie?" My mom asked. "It was fun", I said with a smile. She smiled too. "I told you that it would be ok", she told me. I shrugged and walked up to my room. I looked at my phone and saw that there was a message from Troy. We exchanged phone numbers during lunch.

Troy's Pov

Abby was very pretty. From she came into the class I couldn't stop staring at her. She was fun, kind and all a that. Carla was angry with me because I showed Abby around and ate lunch with her. She was just my friend so Carla shouldn't be vex. Besides, Abby was fun and most of the times Carla was boring.
