Hi, I'm percy jackson and I'm here to tell you that um, we finally defeated Gaea and sent her back to Tartarus. So this story I'm gonna tell you is a not so pleasant experience for me.

Percy POV

June 12, 2012

I was walking down the street of Manhattan, walking to my Mom's apartment. Suddenly, someone called my name.

"Perseus Jackson"

I turned around and said

"Yes"

To my surprise I saw Athena, the Goddess of Wisdom standing right in front of me. What now? I thought to myself.

"Perseus, I have a quest for you" Athena said in a cold voice.

"A quest?" I asked surprised.

"Yes, Perseus, this one will be a hard quest" she said in a weird evil voice.

In fact, she said the word hard as if this quest would be as hard as tartarus. Damn those Gods and Goddesses and their suicide mission quests.

"Perseus, insulting the Gods of Olympus is not a very wise decision" she said warningly.

Oh yeah I forgot Gods can read mortals and Demigods' minds, especially when the God you're talking to is the Goddess of Wisdom. Damn it! I'm such a Seaweed brain!

"My Apologies, Lady Athena" I apologized.

"Apology accepted, next time you do that I would turn you to dust" she said,

"Yes Lady Athena, it would never happen again" I said nervously.

"Very well Perseus, let's now talk about your quest" Athena said.

"Wait, if I do this quest what would I get?" I asked stupidly.

"I would give you an engagement ring for you to propose to Annabeth" she said as if that was the most obvious reward in the whole universe.

"Yo-you-you a-a-ar-re a-al-low-wing m-me t-to marry your dau-daughter" I stuttered.

"Yes" she said.

"Ok so what's the quest" I asked ready for any kind of quest.

"I need you to get my diary from Apollo" she said awkwardly.

"Are you serious" I asked not believing this.

"Yes, my secrets are stored in that diary" she said.

"Ok, that's easy, but I want you to swear to the river styx that you would not cheat on our deal, you would give me my reward after I do that quest" I said waiting for a response.

"I, Athena, the Goddess of Wisdom, hereby swear on the river styx that I would not cheat on Percy and I's deal, I would give him his reward if he finishes his quest on time" Athena swore.

"What time do I need to return your diary, where do we meet?" I asked.

"I must have my diary at around 5 pm, you will meet me at the hill of Camp Half-blood" she said.

"Sure" I said, whistling for blackjack.

Athena vanished, then blackjack came and asked me in my mind

"Hey boss, what did you call me for?" he asked.

"Blackjack, I'm on a quest to retrieve Athena's diary from Apollo" I answered.

So to make that silly quest short, I went to Apollo's palace and took the diary entitled "Athena's diary", then I went to the hill of Camp Half-blood and saw Athena there.

"Well done Perseus" she said in a happy voice.

"My reward please, Lady Athena" I said.

"Oh yes, your reward" she said snapping her fingers.

Then a black velvet box appeared out of nowhere, Athena opened it.

"This ring is specially made by Hephaestus himself, it's made out of celestial bronze and other rare minerals that can only be found in Olympus" she said proudly.

"Wow, now your blessing" I demanded.

"Perseus, I give you my blessing to marry my daughter Annabeth" she said finally letting go.

"Thank you, Lady Athena" I thanked.

After my conversation with Athena, I went out to look for Annabeth. I found her in her cabin reading a book about architectural stuff.

"Annabeth, let's take a walk in the beach" I said.

"Now?" she asked irritated.

"Annabeth, trust me, you'll love this" I said.

"Okay" she sighed standing up.

Annabeth and I went out of her cabin and started heading for the beach. We finally reached the beach. I was smiling to myself because I just can't believe Athena finally gave me her permission for me to marry Annabeth.

"Percy why are you smiling" Annabeth asked while walking.

"because.................................." I said waiting for the perfect timing of sunset.

"of this" I said kneeling down, taking out the black velvet box out of my pocket and opening it.

Annabeth just stood there speechless.

"Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena, will you marry me?" I proposed.

"Yes! Yes! Yes!" she exclaimed.

"Wait, Annabeth let me slide the engagement ring first" I said.

I slid down the ring at Annabeth's ring finger, then kissed her.

"Annabeth I love you, I'll never leave you" I said honestly.

"Percy, I love you too" she said crying.

I was fooling with Annabeth for a while when the conch horn sounded and we had to eat dinner. I announced to everyone about my engagement with Annabeth and they were all like "yeah percy!" Later that night Annabeth and I went back to the beach to sleep there, we wished ourselves goodluck and said I love you to each other before we slept in peace.

Third person POV

Percy woke up at the sound of the ocean with his beautiful overjoyed girlfriend. He was smiling to himself, thinking about future plans with Annabeth. Man, he was picturing Annnabeth and his wedding when suddenly a guy said

"Die, you useless snake creature!"

Percy POV

"Another dracanae attack" I sighed to myself.

Beside me, Annabeth started to stir, then her eyes fluttered open, looking at me for an explaination of what the heck just happened.

"Percy, what was that?" she asked.

"I'm not sure, probably just another crazy dracanae who wants to die and rot in tartarus" I said in a bored tone.

"To be sure, let's check it out" Annabeth said, standing up.
