So, yeah. I know it seems like I can't keep a story going to save my life. I couldn't tell you why. Poetry, yeah, I could, and do, do that all the time. But stories? They start off good, and then I lose interest and can't decide what's wrong with them. So I guess I am going to TRY to start again. No promises.

Peace and Love<3 Becky

I leaned down and slipped on my shoes, my keds. The gray and white ones, the one that have a monkey on the right shoe. They were a little large on me, but that was the way I liked them. I sighed as I heard yells from downstairs. It was my older brother and sister, Dimitri and Delilah. They were the twins, and were both fifteen, four years older than me. We were going to Diagon Alley soon, and were fighting over who would take me shopping. Yeah. They were fighting over me.

"MARILYN!" They both yelled in unison.

"What in Merlin's beard do you want? You can both shop with me, okay?"

"C'mon," my brother yelled, "We're about to leave!"

Shoot, I thought. I ran down the stairs, tripping on my way down. Dimitri was waiting, and caught me, as I almost fell to my death. Yes, that was an over exaggeration. I would have been fine. "Thanks." I breathed, catching my breath, that I had lost.

"No problem," he said, as he pulled me to the fireplace. "Li is already there with Jude and dad, go ahead and go, and I'll meet you there." Jude was my other brother, he was my twin, it was cool having two sets of twins in your family, though it sucked at the same time. I loved my family, even though we didn't have a mother. She had died after while giving birth to me and Jude. Truthfully, I felt like it was my fault, and I couldn't forgive myself.

"Okay," I said, while he handed me some Floo Powder, "DIAGON ALLEY!" I yelled and threw the powder at my feet. I was close to all of my siblings, and so was Jude, but for some reason the older two, just could not get along. You would think they would, considering they've been together their whole lives.

But Di and Li, they were completely different. Di was in Gryffindor, and Li was in Slytherin. She really was a bitch sometimes. Jude and I would both be in Gryffindor. I was sure of it. We were the bravest people alive, especially him. I always looked up to my younger brother. And not just because he was a few inches taller than me. He was a great guy, a great role model.

Li looked nothing like the rest of us. Di, Jude, and I though? Exactly the same almost. We all had dark brown, almost black, hair, and ice blue eyes. We also had very tan skin. Li? She had the same ice blue eyes, yet was a ginger, complete with freckles and the pale skin. Something I heard she got from our mother.

I say we have the same eyes, yet in truth, we didn't. Hers were filled with an anger, something I couldn't describe, and couldn't get her to explain. It scared me. Dimitri's and Jude's were filled with laughter, always and constantly. They were the bubbliness and joy in our family.

I, well, I had the large eyes, that were described as 'old, filled with wisdom, beautiful.' Our eyes were something I held pride in. No matter how much anger, sadness, or anything, were in them, they were fantastic and unique.

We were all on the taller side, I was 5'3, and Jude was 5'6. Way too tall, for us only turning 11 on March 1st. The twins were both 5'9. Our height and looks made sense though. Our father was 6'4, with the darkest brown hair, and eyes that were the lightest blue possible. He wasn't very tan though, but he did have our high nose, and square shoulders, that everyone, except(of course) Li, shared. She had a lower nose and very petite shoulders.

I finally got to Diagon Alley, and was in Flourish and Blotts, after what seemed like forever, but, truthfully, had been only seconds. "Hello," I coughed, stepping out of the fireplace, I hugged Jude, and grabbed his hand, "Come on," I whispered, I looked over to where Li was looking at books, "Let's go to Ollivander's and get our wands, I have money! We don't need them." He smiled at me devilishly, and we ran out quietly.

We knew exactly where we were going, we had been here multiple times, for Di and Li, but also for small outings with our dad while the twins were at school. We talked until we got there, saying how we were so excited, and how we couldn't wait to be in Gryffindor. We walked into Ollivander's, and as soon as I stepped in, I saw a small boy, probably our age, when we walked in. He was light haired, platinum colored, and had it slicked back. He turned when he heard the bell ring, he had the most hypnotizing gray eyes, that were tinted with hatred.

"Hello," he whispered in a very quiet tone, and turned back around, swishing a wand.

"Perfect," Ollivander said, "I can't believe you got a wand on the first try!" He smiled at the boy. And told him the amount of money, and he fished it out of his pocket and left. I watched him leave and meet a woman, who appeared to be his mother, outside.

"Hello, hello!" Ollivander said, as soon as he noticed us. "The second set of Stevens' twins, I see! Jude and Marilyn, if I am correct? Ladies first, so Marilyn you come up here." I hurried up to the desk, as he ran to get a few wands, and Jude sat down by the window.

"Elder, 13 and a quarter inches, unicorn tail, very stiff, good for charms. Great for lefties." He told me with a wink, I swished it, and it did nothing. Jude laughed, and Ollivander frowned, and said, "No, no, no! Try this." I waved this one, and it made a cup turn into a mouse. Ollivander shrieked, grabbed it by it's tail, and threw it outside. He rushed back in, and said, "Perfect, Marilyn! This is a Holly, 12 inches, dragon heartstring, springy, wonderful for transfiguration, as you've seen." He put it back into it's box, and handed it to me.

"Now, Jude come here. He went and grabbed a box, took out the wand, and handed it to my brother. He swished it, and it made my wand fly to him. Ollivander smiled largely, "Redwood, 13 and a half inches, the same dragon's heartstring as your dear twin over there, stiff, great for charms, and another lefty wand." He put it in the box, and handed it to Jude, as I walked up, and fished out the money for the wands.

When all of a sudden, the bell on the door rang like crazy and my father walked in, panting like crazy. "Judah Asher! Marilyn Ephraim! Don't you ever run off like that again! You scared me to death, and don't forget your siblings! They were terrified, too!"

We looked down, ashamed. Tears filled my eyes, as Jude apologized for us. My father came and wrapped his arms around us, "I love you guys and don't want you to get hurt. Just understand that." We nodded. And then Jude held up his wand.

"Dad! We got them! They are so awesome!" Our dad chuckled, as I wiped my tears from my eyes. We hurridly went to all the other stores and got the stuff we needed, and ended up in front of the animal shop.

"You guys can get an owl to share." Jude and I glanced at each other, a grin sliding across our faces, as we ran into the store to find the perfect one. We ended up with a male lesser sooty owl, that we named Raleigh.

The day ended well, as we used the Floo network to return home. I fell asleep quickly with dreams of Hogwarts in my head.
