Chapter 2/Jack finds out

It has been a year since I became the Guardian of Fun and I helped the other Guardians protect the children from Pitch Black, The boogyman, or the Guardian of Fear. I went to visit my friend and my first believer, Jamie and his little sister, Sophie. Jamie was with his friends in his backyard. He said, "Hey, let's have a snowball fight!" Sophie said, "Yeah, it will be fun!" I decided to have fun myself, so I make a snowball and threw it to Jamie. He was surprise at first of who threw the snowball, but then he must've realized that it was me. He turns around and sees me. "Jack! You came back for a visit!" He cries happily. I said, laughing, "Of course! I told you that I will come back sooner or later, didn't I? Now, let's have some-" But as I was about to finish my sentence, I saw the distress signal from the North Pole. I groaned and turned to Jamie who was waiting. "I'm so sorry that I had to cut this visit short, Jamie. You know-" Jamie seems to understand of what I was going to say. "I know, Jack. The Guardians need you. Go. We'll be right here when you get back. We want to hear the whole story when you return, promise?" I nodded, "Promise. Thanks for understanding, Jamie." I flew up to the North Pole. What is North going to tell us?

North

I have seen black sand coming from the land of Berk, I just received a message from Manny. The Guardians came at once and gather around in the workshop. Bunny said, "North, what's this about, mate? I was about to finish these Easter eggs!" Jack said, "I was about to have fun with Jamie until I saw the signal!" Tooth said, "I was counting how much Teeth the children got." I sighed, "I'm afraid there's some bad news I had received from Manny." The Guardians looked at one other and Jack finally spoke up, "What did Manny say, North?" I said, "He told me that Pitch is back, and more powerful than ever." Jack said, "We beaten him once, we can beat him again." I shook my head, "Jack, you are not the only ones destined to defeat Pitch alone." The Guardians looked at me with confusion. "Uh, repeat that again, Mate?" Bunny asked. Jack said, rolling his eyes at Bunny, "He means that we have to team up with someone, right, North?" I said, "Indeed. There are teens in Berk who just defeated a villain named Viggo Grimborn. They are the ones who are destined to fight Pitch and you have to help them along the way." Jack thought for a moment then he said, "Excuse me, did you just say , "Berk?" I nodded. "Yes, why you ask, Jack?" I asked.

I couldn't believe it. I haven't been to Berk in a long time. I known Hiccup when the Big Four was created, but we went our separate ways since then. I asked, "Is this mean that I get to visit Hiccup?" North smiles at me and said, " Yes, it does. Say hi, for me, will you?" I nodded and looked at the other Guardians. "Ready to go to Berk and find the Chosen Ones?" I asked. Bunny said, "Yea, I'm in." Tooth said, "I'm in, too." Sandy gestures a smile at me. I looked at North and asked him, "Aren't you coming with us, North?" He replies, "No, I have some unfinished work here in the Workshop, Jack, this time, you'll be the leader of the group." I was surprise when he told me that. "Me, as a leader? Can I really lead the team of Vikings and Guardians?" I thought. Tooth looks at me and said, "Jack, don't worry about it. I'm sure that you will be a great leader!" I looked directly at her and said, "Thanks, Tooth." She said, "Anytime." Bunny asked, "Uh, how we going to Berk?" North laughs and said, "Here, take a snow globe. It'll take you directly to Berk." I said, looking at the Guardians, "Let's go." I picked up the snow globe and whispered, "Berk." I threw the snow globe and a portal opens and we went through it.  I thought, "Hic, I hope that you're not busy."
