Today is Dawn's birthday. She is turning 14, so in a few days, she will be going to Fairy
Tale Academy. Her birthdays are always... Unique? No one ever comes, it's just her and her dad. Oh, did I tell you? Her dad is Captain Hook. That is why she's been enrolled there.
**Dawn's POV**
I ran out on to the deck.
Oh! You may be thinking, deck? I live on a boat. The Jolly Roger 2.0. The first doesn't look so well after the years. Anyway.... Back to the story.
There was a cake sitting on a few cardboard boxes. I rushed over and grabbed the knife to cut it. I smashed my face into the piece.
Happy birthday to me, I thought.
