Stephanie had only one way to at least have a little bit connection with Alice. She had a phone. Stephanie always called Alice every night.
"Why did my mom have us move away? She ruined everything!" Stephanie told Alice.
"I know Steffie but at least you can call me." Alice replied.
"But now things will be worse than ever..you were my BEST friend." Stephanie said depressingly. Alice replied saying, " I know, and I'm sorry that you had to leave and you know that I'll be here. I love you Steffie, but...I gotta go..."
"Love ya to..." Stephanie replied tearing up. She pressed the hang up button knowing she can never see her best friend again.
