"Why don't you ever take anything seriously?"

"...because Tatsuo, I have no interest sticking my nose into Father's business."

Tatsuo raised his chin at his younger brother, "You're 17 years old little brother, it's time for you to start getting invested in the family business."

Kiyoshi could only roll his eyes, "Maybe I'm a late bloomer..."

"Bullshit, you're just lazy...lazy bastard."

And with that, Tatsuo stormed out of the room. Kiyoshi finally allowed himself to lean into the sofa, leaning his head back so he was staring at the ceiling. He just didn't understand what everybody's problem was? Why were they so invested in him, even when he purposefully failed Father's tests, they still deemed him valid enough to take over the organization.

It irritated him.

He wasn't interested in being no big boss of his father's crime syndicate. It was too much work, he just wanted to turn 18 so he can run away and herd sheep in the mountains.

Not really...but he did want to live somewhere peaceful where nobody would bother him. Kiyoshi figured, if Tatsuo wanted it so bad then why didn't they just give it to him! Why did they have to bother Kiyoshi too!

He rolled off the couch and went to his room, he searched for his jacket and put on his favorite pair of sneakers.

"God dammit Tatsuo...I hate you."

He walked out to his front yard where his brother was waiting for him by the car.

"Well brother...you decided to join me?"

"Shut up and start the car."

Tatsuo laughed at his younger brother's new attitude, "I like that...keep it for later when you fight."

As they were speeding down the highway Kiyoshi asked, "So what is it that you plan on doing this time?"

Tatsuo could only smile at his brother's curiosity 'one step at a time...one step at a time'.

"You know those new docks father has bought out? Well it seems like the employees are slacking around and damaging products."

"Why are we going at night then? Shouldn't we try and catch them when their working and then fire them?"

"Yes, that's true but...I could care less about that. What I care about is the missing products, I just got intel from a secret source that the employees are stealing the undamaged products and that means that father's business is left with the damaged products and that creates a bad rep for us. We're gonna go and catch them in the act..."

"How sure are you that it's the employees? It could be rival gangs...remember, father did buy docks RIGHT next to his own rivals. It could be them that are trying to ruin our business."

"Don't worry Kiyoshi, I'm on top of it. I had already sent Takashi to investigate and see whether those little rats are up to something and so far...nothing."

Kiyoshi shifted in his seat.

Something didn't feel right...

"If only father had listened to me during dinner, I was trying to tell him of our plans."

Kiyoshi scoffed at him, "As if...he would've shut this whole operation down."

Tatsuo shrugged at him, "Hey, you never know."

When they neared the docks Tatsuo made sure to park in a shaded area. They quietly got out and ran towards a bunch of bushes that covered them from the perps  who were guarding.
