It's the middle of the night. I woke from my sleep because I'm hearing glass break, gunshots, and I mom screaming bloody murder. I got up and grabbed my baseball bat and went downstairs. I can't see anything only a man running out the back door. I turn on the lights then I saw my mom and dad bleeding to death on the floor.

"AAAA MOM, DAD" I ran up to them but my mom was already gone then I heard my father trying to say something

"Dad" I can feel tears running down my face I tried to stop the bleeding but my dad grabbed my hand.

"Don't cry hun go...call Jack under-stand and...run away from here as fast as you can" he started to cough up blood

"Hang in there dad"

"I'll befine...me and your mother love you with all are hearts......."

"DAD, DAD" he was gone....I ran up the stairs and grabbed my phone and call Jack as fast as I can.

"I will be right there"Jack said. After I got done talking to Jack I called the cops. I know I should have called the cops first but that's what my dad told me to call a Jack. The cops finally showed up

"Sorry Nicole" all the cops said to me I know all of them because my father was in the FBI so he got to work with them sometimes and my mom was a nurse. My parents sometimes took me with them to their jobs it was fun I got to learn a lot of stuff. When I was waiting for Jack I decided to sit on the front porch steps I couldn't dare to go in my house I could see my parents like that again. When I was waiting they took my parents in body bags and took them away they asked me a ton of questions of what happened where was I you know the usual. Then Jack showed up he pulled up in frount of the house like a race car driver he got out of his car and ran up to me

"Are you okay Nicole"

"Yeah I guess" he gave me a tight hug

"I can't....breath"

"Sorry...are you sure your okay"

"Yeah" I looked away from him

"I'm sorry....I know sorry doesn't change anything"

"It's fine"

"...So you have a place to stay"

"...No not yet"

"Then I guess your coming to stay with me and my dad"

"No that's okay"

"Don't argue your staying with us" I sighed to what he said there's no point to argue he'll win anyways

"I just don't want to be a burden on you guys"

"Your never a burden to us never say that alright....now let's get your stuff"

"I already got my stuff it's over there"

"Okay". I grabbed my bags and put it in his car and then we were off. It's a really nice place it's a two story, there's trees around the house, there's a lake behind it, tire swing, a hammock, and pretty cool boat too. When I was little I used to play on the tire swing with Jack a lot. His mom always made us cookies and when I spend the night with them we would sleep in the yard in a tent it was a lot of fun especially when we took the boat out and Jack would do the funniest things.

But after a couple of years when Jack's mom found out that she had brain cancer it was rough for them and she died when Jack was sixteen it was hart bracking. I went to the funeral and when I was there, there was a guy I stand by the door just watching. I didn't recognize him I know Jack's whole family and there was only his family not friends. That guy just stood there the whole time and the weird part is he kind of looked like Jack.
