I woke up to a text message from my friend.
Russell❣: LEO WAKE UP ITS YOUR COMING OUT DAY!!!!!! xxx
Me : I know and im shaking im so scared Russell how do i tell them? xxx
Russel❣: Just tell them and dont be scared, i gtg now text me later xxx
Me : Bye xxx
I slid my phone back under my pillow and swung my skinny legs out of bed and as soon as my feet contacted the hard, cold, wooden floor i shivered. I stood up and walked over to the bathroom and brushed my hair and teeth, plugged in my straighteners and straightened my long black hair. I grabbed my hairspray and sprayed it over my hair, i walked out of the bathroom and grabbed a Sleeping With Sirens muscle tee and black skinny jeans with matte black timberland boots. I pulled on a leather jacket to cover my scarred wrists and slid my phone into my back pocket. Carefully i walked to my door and opened it, trying to stop the creaking noises. After a while i gave up and slammed my door behind me. I walked downstairs and noticed my mum and dad were sat down on the sofa.
"Hey mum and dad i have something to say" i mumbled whilst playing with my fingers. "What do you want now lily!?" yelled my father. I cringed at the sound of that name.
Lily.
"I-uh this is hard to say but im transgender and i would like you to call me Leo from now on" i mumbled again very quickly. I looked up at them and saw my dad storming towards me. He stopped when he reached infront of me and swung his fist back and punched me square in the face, i fell backwards and he loomed over me and stated kicking my stomach. "YOU FUCKING BITCH YOU ARE NOT TRANSGENDER IN MY HOUSE NOW GET YOUR FAT ASS OUT OF MY HOUSE YOU SLY CUNT!!" He spat in my face and walked away, my mother following afterwards looking at me sad. I pulled myself up and ran upstairs, grabbed a backpack and packed a few things.

I walked into the bathroom and grabbed a small box that had 3 blades in it, i walked back into my bedroom and shoved them into my backpack. I grabbed my earphones and ran out the house.
