Weirdo -yatori

-This takes place in Hiyori's room right after Yato did one of his weird acts of love.

Hiyori's eye twitched as she sat at the end of her bed, she was obviously mad at Yato once again, because of his stupid unnecessary acts.

Meanwhile, Yato was sulking at the side of her bed. You could tell he regretted what he done, like a guilty puppy, he sat there with his head low.

"Seriously! Why do you keep on doing this, Yato! It's not cute, it's just plain creepy!" Hiyori lectured. He stayed silent, seeming like he could not speak. Hiyori turned around to face him, a stern look on her face that she always gave him when she was mad at him.

"It-it's because," Yato finally started looking up at her, a determined look on his face,"It's because I lo-!"*knock knock*

The knock interrupted him and took Hiyori's attention away. She stood up and opened the door to see Yukine there.

"Your parents are calling you down for dinner"Yukine pointed behind him.
"Oh, right",Hiyori now was heading downstairs. Yukine looked over at Yato to see him depressed.

" what's up with him?" Yukine shrugged,"Eh, probably some stupid thing he is whining over"

-Yato's POV

There it went, all that confidence that I built up to say that sentence, and it all was flushed away. Danget Yukine, out of all the times to show up, you choose now!? Ugh, I want to give up trying to say it, but I shall still fight on with determination!

I stopped and thought about the question Hiyori asked me while she was lecturing me, why do I keep doing those weird things, because I just can't help it! I try but it's like I never been without her before, and how else am I going to learn the little quirks about her if whenever I try to talk to her about it she ends up going off topic from herself to something different! Why I 'stalk' her is because I just like being around her, and because of her stupid, school, she never hangs out with me much. I don't want to think much about this stuff because it makes me realize I'm just being selfish and I try to stop and then it all loops around again! I sigh and flop forward onto the bed and muffle, "I'm hopeless".
    I will wait until she gets back to apologize.

  -Hiyori's POV

   After dinner I helped Yukine for a while with his work I gave him today. After I was done with that I headed to my room completely forgetting that Yato was there. I opened the door to see him sitting on my bed reading a magazine. He noticed I was there and put the magazine down next to him.

     I sighed, " Yato, why are you still in my room?" I said while I sat on the end of my bed.

    " I'm sorry" he answered.
  " huh" I was confused on what he was apologizing about.

      He continued, " I am sorry for what I did today...and any other day, I just, wanted to know more about ya" he tried to lighten up the mood at the end of his sentence. I could tell, he was telling the truth, but there was more behind that. I did not ask about it because he would just try to weasel out of it, so instead I just leaned over toward him and hugged him. The hug surprised him but he soon melted into it.
The only thing I could think of is his scent.
