California was much more different then Arizona had expected.
The city of Hollywood overwhelmed her as she walked down a busy sidewalk, a brochure clutched tightly in her hand. The air was so dry compared to Florida's thick and heavy feeling, she thought to herself as she looked at the address on the brochure.
Arizona suddenly stopped and looked up.There it was.
She walked about 10 blocks to get there, at least, it felt like 10 blocks.
The thoughts of all the struggles she went through just to get to California raced through her head as she looked up at the huge
"Paramount" sign which featured a huge gate beside it.She just then realized she didn't need the address on the brochure to notice this huge location.
"Ah, here we are," she said openly as people
briskly walked past her while she was gawking at the entrance like she wasn't even there,
"You're gonna try to make it big at acting."With that, Arizona took a deep breath and walked towards the Paramount gate.

"Yes, my name is Arizona Whitfield," Arizona said.
Her mood went from being ready to take on the day to severely annoyed. She had been arguing with this representative front desk guy for about five minutes now. He had no idea who he was dealing with.
She also felt pretty crabby because it took her forever to get through the line of people at Paramount signing up for whatever they were auditioning for. Her feet ached to kick off her heels and leggings so she could ease the pressure off of her blisters. She was beat. She needed a drink. Maybe even a cigarette.
"Ma'am," he said in his 'I know everything and you don't' tone. He had blocky nerdy looking glasses, red curly hair, and horribly chapped lips. He had a Paramount clip that hung from his white shirt that had a grotesque picture of him on it and the name "Paul." She didn't like him one bit.
"I'm pretty sure you didn't schedule an appointment. Your name isn't in the computer registry, and as I said before --"
"Yeah, yeah, I get it. Computers know everything. Now listen here Paul," Arizona leaned her head over his desk and put her voice at a low tone.
"I came here from goddamn Florida for crying out loud. This is the tenth time you've checked your worthless, dumb, nothing computer system. I'm not just gonna ditch this Family Ties audition just because I didn't satisfy your needs and make an appointment. I'm a hard working 20 year old woman. I'm tired. I want to get this over with. I'll give you 100 dollars, by god," she paused and turned to dramatically point at the other people waiting in line.
"Just let me through so these people aren't stuck waiting on me because I'm arguing with you."
Just as he was about to open his crusty mouth and counter her, a short, boyish looking man walked in to the registry room.
