Being Dan and phill child

Part 1

Katie's pov  (8 years in past she is 5)
Just another normal day in the London adoption center on a Saturday.alone on my bed looking at the ceiling but unlike any other day there was announcement saying for all girls ages 5-7 to come to the front,which either meant there was a new kid in are age group or someone was here to adopt.i got dressed in my favorite outfit (even though i only have 3 shirts) and went down to the front and lined up with the other girls late as per usual. Are adoption center "mom" came over to us Saying two men were coming to adopt and if they had a problem with 2 dads to go back to there room immediately 4-7 girls left leaving me a 6 and a 7.two very tall men came out from "moms" office and looked at us all."okay so you will have an interview with all three girls then you can choose."said miss looking  at the men who were obviously a couple. The 7 and 6 went first then me but I just skipped my way in the office not caring to sit at first."you can sit my names dan and this is Phil.""why thank you Dan I will have a seat and hello Phil"i said gleaming at the boys."do you want to tell us about yourself?" Phil asked smiling down at me."yes my name is katie and I'm hyper and sassyyyyyyy hehe"I said snapping my fingers.
TIME SKIP THE CHOOSING DUN DUN DUN
"Well me and Phil have put in some thought but we want to take katie to be are daughter" Dan explained I ran into there arms hugging them then grabbing one finger from both of them dragging them to my room.
PRESENT DAY
"daaaaaaaaaaaaaaady"  I yelled to Phil "whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat"he yelled back to me."let's wake up dad and tell him the world is ending!" I explained "YES" he yelled getting up."don't try and I'm up katie you need to go to sleep its 1 am and you have school tomorrow and you can't miss another Monday."ugh okay night dad night daddy"I yawned giving them both a hug and back to hell it is tomorrow.
NEXT DAY
I walk into the gates of hell oops no Meant school not much a difference anyway."hey look it's that fat ugly slut Katie"some kids yelled when I walked into the court yard so I could get to home room no sign of my best friend ang there today would be horrible.
ON WAY HOME
Some kids beat me up today bad I have a black eye and a bloody lip not to count they found my scars and opened them again,how was I going to hide this from Dan and Phil ugh.i got home and ran up to my room ignoring the hello  from Phil and Dan crying as soon as I got there.
KNOCK KNOCK
"Go away" I yelled at however was at my door,Dan just walked in anyway."oh my katie what happened"
Dan asked sitting down next to me."the girls at school beat me up and ang wasn't there to help" I cried into his shoulder as he hugged me "I just want to be normal and pretty and smart" I sobbed."katie who are gorgeous and extremely smart and if normal is those girls then I am glad your not normal okay" he said looking in my eyes"yeah okay"I replied wiping my tears from my eyes."come on we will make your favorite dinner and Watch divergent" Dan told me getting up and leaving my room
