Last Words

Chapter one {The dance}

    We all have moments we wish to relive. This specific moment... not so much. I fear that my last words to someone might not be what I'd hoped them to be. In this scenario, they weren't.

It was the first day of high school , and as usual Katie and I went together. You'd expect me to say something interesting happened , but it was just an average day. I grabbed lunch at the canteen in the commons , lunch consisted of nachos and a Dr.Pibb . Mean while Katie was talking to Khloe about the upcoming formal. When I walked over to them Katie said , "Mr.Ruges said detention next time I'm late which means no after school activities for a week, including the formal . So ill see you guys later." "See ya" chimed in me and Khloe . When Katie left , me and Khloe started talking about our dresses for the formal . She said she was going in a red dress , and I told her I was going in a mint green high , low dress . After a short and boring conversation we headed to next block , which we had together , Math .
"Today class , we will work in partners on the Pythagorean theorem . You will pick your partners then work the whole class on this worksheet." Said miss Ashton . I walked over to Khloe to ask her to be my partner but then she said , "Sorry but I'm already taken." , before I could even ask . After school me , Khloe , and Katie met at the mall to buy our dresses . I , as expected , bought a mint green high low dress , and Katie got a lavender short , poofy dress . Khloe bought a long silky red dress , and gold platforms - which I personally thought were hideous .
It was the next week and the dance was tonight . Me and Katie got ready at my house and went to the dance together . When we got there we got some punch , and when everyone starting looking towards the doors so did we. Standing there , in the doorway , was Khloe in the most stunning , mint green , high low dress I've ever seen . Katie , then walked up to her and said , "you're the most beautiful girl here in the most beautiful dress ever." "Thank you , I decided I liked Hally's -which is me- dress better than mine , and so I got one for myself . I hope you don't mind , Hally." "No , of course not." -Which , in fact , it did bother me.
