Chapter 1

*Steve*

I look out the bus window. The flowers turned into bushes then into trees. We were out in the middle of no where. Their was nobody I knew on this bus. I met Tim today and he is vary well built. I can see why he was selected to be trained by the Alpha King. I don't know why I was picked, all I'm good at is hunting also stealth. I was pulled out of my thoughts when Tim started to talk to me "we are here come on," he said pulling me up.

I grabbed my two suitcases and started to get off the bus. I stepped down on the ground hearing the crunching of the leaves under my boots. Before the bus leaves I heard the bus driver say "this is how far I can take you, follow this dirt road and you will get there"

She closed the bus door and drove off. I was the only girl in this group. I started to hear the guys bickering so I just followed the dirt road like she told me to. I heard some guys say were are you going or hey this might be a test. But I didn't care and Tim just stayed by my side. "I wonder why we have to walk," Tim said

I ignored the question and kept walking. We walked more than two hours. We I looked around seeing people running in order. Then other people shooting at targets. It was a big complex, I started to walk up to it and what looked like a drill sergeant came up to me. "Where is the rest of them?," he said looking at me puzzled.

I straighten my back and looked directly forward. "They didn't want to walk because, they thought it was a trick or something sir," I said having a straight face.

He started to study me up and down. " You are now group leader, at ease now," he said.

I saluted him then, eased my muscles relaxing. "OK go to the dorm 2041 and he will be your roommate," the Sargent said.

I nodded and followed his orders, "come on Tim let's go to our new room," I said walking over to a building that said dorms.

I walked up stairs while Tim moaned and groaned. "Wwhhhyyy do we have to walk, why can't we take the elevator Steve," Tim said.

"Because we need to work out more, plus your fat Tim," I said lying

"No I'm not you are you see that flab," Tim said snickering.

"You know what f^ck you," I said death glaring at him.

We finally reached the dorm, I didn't know how to open it because we had nothing to open it with no knob or anything. I knocked on the door like a normal person would. No one answered so I shrugged my arms. When I stepped back from the door it spoke to me. "Hello please insert thumb print here, next to the door," the voice said.

I didn't notice the scan button. But took a confused look on my face. I pressed my thumb on the scanner. "Scanning," the voice said

"Scanning complete, please state your name," the voice said.

"My name is Steve," I growled a little. I hated my name because it was for a boy.

"Welcome Steve you may enter," it opened the door for me an I walked in.

It shut the door behind me and I heard it do the same thing to Tim. Before Tim could get in I picked my bed which was had a balcony and it was master bedroom. Tim came in an kinda pouted that I picked the big room.

After we were done packing, I went out and into the living room. It was eight and tomorrow we have school. Yeah 'school', the Tv came on automatically and our Sargent started to say "hello and welcome new students your week curfew's are at eight and your weekends are at nine, you should already know this....." I tuned out the rest and found some food to wipe up.

I ate spaghetti and Spinage for dinner. I was going to my room "goodnight Tim," I said waving .

"Goodnight," he said back.

I closed my door softly. I shuffled to my bathroom, I brushed my teeth and hair and took a shower. After when I was done, I walked to my bed flopping in it. I closed my eyes and drifted to sleep.
