Tonight I can write the saddest lines
As black imbued the skies with hatred,
My heart was rendered a pitch of regret.
You were gone, and there were no stars in sight.
It was for certain! There was nothing to light me tonight. You let me fly. You taught me to soar.
But those days, those days are no more. How have you made your promises sound so real?
How was it that your words always made me heal?I know you can never come back, my dear.
Still, I'm wishing you were here.Oh how lonely this night is!
If only I can be given one last kiss.
That chance I definitely would not miss -
The last goodbye to give me peace.
