CHAPTER 04: Battle Between Us

[Mayu's P.O.V.]

"Okay! Its decided! Mayu, Fight me!"-Lowell announce.

I turned to her with a bored expression. "Huh?"

She rolled her eyes for a moment. "Sabi ko maglaban tayo! Sige na! Its quiet some time mula nang maglaban tayo eh!"-pagpupumilit nya.

"Accept it! Accept it! Matagal na simula ng may makalaban akong iba. Kapag natalo ka, ill take the responsibility."-Darque said and she grinned.

Nakapaweywang akong humarap sakanya at nakataas pa ang isang kilay. "Youll take the responsibility?"-she only nodded repeatedly. "Sure."

"Start the match and i'll help you."-she assured.

"You know, this isn't my combat mode so that my attack levels aren't very high"

"What?"-i said and my mouth slighlty open.

"Sandali lang hah, may idodownload lang ako sa utak mo"

Anak ng?! Anong akala nya sa utak ko? Computer program? Kung saan pwede syanf magdownload ng kung ano ano?

Before i could even reply, i could feel a sudden pain in my head. Napahawak ako sa ulo ko dahil sa sakit. Naririnig ko rin ang tawag nina Natsuki pero napakahina nito. Letters, numbers, images are all flooded in my head. I could have seen that this was some of Darque's memories. The characters was finally set to formed.

The pain suddenly vanished, Without thinking, i held out Darque's key and chanted, "I, Mayu, Call upon the gate of the underworld to summon the Afterlife. Open, gate of the devil of hell, Darque Di Daemon!"

Darque appeared with the same mist out of it. Her appearance was completely different. A black eyepatch covered her left eye. A yin yang sign had replaced her right eye but instead of black and white, it was icey blue and bloody red. She was still wearing her goth lolita dress but its now splattered with red which look like blood.

Nakaramdam naman ako ng kakaiba na nakaattached sa mga daliri ko. Tiningnan ko ito only to see a faint strings out of magic. Na nakakabit kay Darque papunta saakin. Hinila ko ito at bigla na lang napunta sa tabi ko si Darque. Tiningnan ko sya.

"I can move by my self but you can also control me. It will help us if we act according to plan na hindi ko alam. Magtiwala ka sa instincts mo at malalaman mo kung papaano ako controlin in no time."-bulong nya saakin. Hindi ko na alam kung anong dapat kong isipin ngayon pero tumango na lang ako.

Lowell grinned and jumped towards us with a firing fist. His magic is fire manipulation kaya alam ko kung gaano sya kalakas. "Fire fist!"

I closed my eyes, Darque said, relay on your instincts. I flinched my finger at napunta si Darque sa harapan ko. Tinaas nya ang kangyang kamay and black water began to pool on her hands. I flinched my fingers again and that moment, i hear an explosion

I open my eyes, nakita ko pa kung papaano iwasan ni Lowell ang water punch ni Darque. Her water was manage to repel his fire. Once again, Lowell attack us and we were attacking back. Hindi ako makapagisip ng plano dahil dito. Alam ko namang kayang gumalaw ni Darque by herself pero mas maganda pa rin kapag nakaisip ng plano. Kailangan namin ng distraction.

I held out my hand and do my hand motion para mapalabas ang totoong magic ko. "Thorns."-i whispered and some homogonious white thorns appeared on the ground and attack Lowell. Right, My magic is all about Thorn Impulsions or simply, i can manipulate the thorns at will. Be it an offense or an defense.

Water is effective against fire. I imagine that Darque's contolling the water so it hit Lowell. I flinched my fingers again and Darque mirrored what i imagine. Darque sent a stream of water but Lowell dodge it while he can no longer dodge second stream. He prepeared for the pain but nothing came, the stream just soaked him.

He looked confused. I mentally smirked. Pinaalala ko kay Darque na wag palalakasin ang stream to not cause enough damage. Hindi ko alam kung papaano ko nalaman pero alam ko na hindi kayang ivaporate ng apoy ni Lowell ang Tubig ni Darque.

Water conducts electricity well. I pictured Darque sending a bolt of black lightning towards him. Darque move, iniwasan nya ang Fire Kick ni Lowell at nagsummon ng black electricity. She molded it into lightning ball and with a flick of my finger, the lightning ball sent towards him.

He dodge it. Darque create another ball and sent it towards him, he dodge the first ball but the second dont. The lightning circled around him and knock him down.

His eyes widened as the electricity traveled through him. I smiled, hindi ko pinalakas ang atakeng iyon para walang permanent damage. The attack was only strong enough to paralized him. He fell on the floor, twitching.

Naglakad ako papunta kay Darque only to see a teasing smile plastering on her face at nakadila pa sya-_- I smiled at her.
