What the hell kind of name is the Wattys? Who was in charge of naming this? I'm so mad. I hardly ever go on Wattpad but when I do what is the first thing I am presented with? What must my eyes scan as soon as I enter this site?

Why did you call it the 'Wattys'? It's so stupid it makes it sound like a joke. And not even a good joke. Not the sort of joke you have a little chuckle about with your mates. It's not funny bad it's just fucking terrible bad. It makes me want to cringe. The 'Wattys'.
If I somehow won a goddamn ''''Watty'''' I'd be relatively proud but I wouldn't go around telling people I won a 'Watty' because it's a goddamn Wattt. A freaking Watty. Thanks stupid 'y' sound at the end makes it sound so stupid. If you're going to have serious awards then why are you trivialising the entire thing by a essentially taking a shortened version of 'Wattpad' and sticking a fucking 'y' at the end. And if the point of that is 'oh! It's meant to do that since its only meant to be semi serious anyway!' I'm sorry but a 'Watty' just sounds like a character form a crappy, educational kids TV show. It just takes all seriousness away from it. And I know its weird to be talking about the seriousness of these awards when the site is 90 percent crappy One Direction fanfiction anyway, but in Wattpad terms I'm sure authors on the site would view these awards as relatively serious and aim to get one.
