Kelly's P.O.V
I sleep in through most of the day. Saturday. YES!!!. HOLY FUDGECAKES. I forgot Dad has some big client coming for dinner. I look at the clock. 1;05. I slept so long. I get up, groaning and stretching then go and take a shower. I use plenty of shampoo and conditioner to make my hair look presentable. I get out, wrapping my hair and body up in towels and shift through my wardrobe, trying to find something. I decide to go look in Adelaide's closet. Adelaide is my older sister but she's never here because her job takes up most of her time. She lives with her boyfriend anyway. I shift through her closet and take out a pink pencil skirt and a pale blue , lace, off-the-shoulder top. Then I find blue sandals and I style my hair in a wavy bun. Great. I don't look too bad. I go Skype Sadie and find out she's not online so I Skype Ina, my other friend. I talk to her for like 4 hours, just talking about random stuff. I cut the call when Mom calls me to say the guests are here. I slowly walk downstairs and see three people in the hall. I have to admit, the teen is kinda hot. Shiny blonde hair, tanned, muscled, grey eyes. 'Kelly, this is Kevin and Sharon Manning and their son Patrick' Mom tells me and I'm forced to shake their hands. 'Kelly, Lead them through to the living room while Dave and I make coffee and prepare dinner' She said and I take them through. We all perch in the chairs and make stiff, awkward conversation. So Kelly, you go to Amber hall I believe?' Sharon asks and I nod. 'Patrick will be transferring there too' She said and I nod. Mom calls for dinner. Thank God. Mom and Dad really went all out. Chicken curry, rice, chips, lasagna, naan bread, noodles, salad and vegetable stir fry. 'Mrs.Adams did I mention on the phone I'm on a veg diet?' Sharon asks and Mom nods. 'I have vegetable lasagna bubbling in the oven' Mom said and Sharon grins. We all sit and eat and after dinner Mom makes another round of coffee and produces Turkish Delight and chocolate truffles. 'Kelly, why don't you bring Patrick to your room and show him.. I don't know something about school'Mom says and I sigh and nod. Patrick follows me out of the room and up to mine. 'You're really pretty you know' Patrick says and I stare at him, shocked. 'Wanna play 20 Questions. One of us asks a question and we both answer' He says and I nod. 'Full Name?' Patrick asks. 'Kelly Emma Adams' I say. 'Mine is Patrick Gary Manning' He says. 'Favourite colour?' Patrick asks. 'Mine is Mint Green'I say. 'Oh Cool mine is orange' He replies. 'Celebrity Crush?' I ask and he rolls his eyes. Just then Mom calls me to let me know Patrick's parents are leaving. 'Nice getting to know you, see you around beautiful' Patrick says, smirking and he leaves, shutting the door. Leaving me wondering if he was there at all.
