Chapter 2 ~
"What was that all about?"asked Felicia, when we got to school. I turned my bike off and took out the key. Kicking the stand into place when we both got off.
"Nothing. He's just an old friend," I told her. I took off my helmet and shook my hair out. It fell into place, just how I had it this morning.
"Yeah. Right. We all know who he is and how he feels about you. So spill." I looked at her, I was already tired of today.
"Johnny likes me, I don't like him. End. Of. Discussion," I spat. She raised her hands up in surrender. I angrily stared at my bike while squeezing my helmet. 'Don't snap don't snap don't snap,' I thought. I was trying to not punch a hole in a tree and break my helmet at the same time.
Felicia just left me be, but stayed close. All of my close friends know about my emotions issue (including everything else) and to NOT touch me while I'm totally pissed. One time, this guy was harassing my four friends and I. He was cat calling us. Then his friends joined, so there was five of them too.
Eventually, they got tired of us ignoring them that they walked up and put their hands on our shoulders. When they touched my shoulders, I have had enough. I beat them so bad, that it looked like they were in car accidents. I got suspended for a week. Now I have a 'If you touch me and I didn't give you permission or I don't know you; I will kick your ass black and blue' kind of reputation.
I finally cooled down and looked at the time on my phone. We had enough time to get inside the school and get into our seats for first block. I looked over at Felicia, whose was watching me. She had already locked her helmet onto my bike. I locked my bike to a tree and did the same to my helmet. I nodded to her and we made our way across the parking lot and into the school.

Once we were inside, we were immediately surrounded by other students. They were scurrying around like ants. Trying to get to their lockers, talk to friends, and get to class on time. Luckily, there are a few smart people who decided to not get a locker and just carry their backpack with them wherever they go. Felicia and I are two of those few smart people. Emphasis on few.
We walked directly to our homeroom. Well I did anyways. Felicia stopped and talked to some people she knew. I knew everyone, and save for my badass reputation, a lot of the school population didn't know me. Which is a good thing. I stay hidden and unknown while I know every little dirty thing about these losers. It kinda sucks when the government has you memorize people's personal files. It's just plain old annoying.
I weaved my way through the other students. Kinda like Altair in Assassin's Creed. I'm rather fond of that game series. I gently pushed people out of the way, not wanting to hurt them. Then I saw someone I hate.
Lauren. She's that stuck up prep blonde that every school has. She was walking right towards me, but wasn't paying attention. I purposely bumped her with my shoulder, making her stumble. I smirked and kept on walking. I heard her say, "Whaaa," before she realized who did it.
She used to bully me, and I was ready to pop that so called "perfect" head of hers clean off her shoulders. Once again, have to keep a low profile. But ever since I beat those guys up, she doesn't bully me anymore. Well directly. I just ignore her rumors and move on with my life.
I numbly walked into my homeroom. The teacher wasn't in here so the kids were throwing a mini riot. I ignored them and walked towards my seat in the middle, on the far left side of the room. I saw that my friends Jia and Jordyn were leaning on my desk. They were grinning knowingly. I raised an eyebrow.
Then, I heard some familiar footsteps behind me. I let out an impatient sigh. Felicia jumped me. Wrapping her arms around my neck and giving me a hug. The girls a hugger and I don't mind. It's nice to have a daily hug from a friend. I stood there waiting for her to let go. She giggled. I let out yet another sigh and walked over to my desk, dragging her along.
"Weeeeee!"she giggled. I rolled my eyes and walked around my desk, once, twice, before stopping. All the while, dragging Felicia. She let out a huff of disappointment and let me go. I chuckled at her and sat atop my desk. I felt my over-the-shoulder messenger bag shift on my back. I rolled my shoulders and the bag settled into a more comfortable position.
"So, how's life?"asked Jordyn. We always ask each other this question. I shrugged my shoulders while kicking my legs. It kept me entertained. Yes, I'm just sometimes THAT simple minded. I sensed that Felicia and Jia waved their hands in a so-so gesture. Jordyn hummed in approval and bobbed her head yes. Life was normal and boring for all of us. 'How am I going to tell them? Will they be mad? Or excited? Would they hate me for saying yes?', I asked myself mentally.
"Hey, where's Bailey?" I asked, when I noticed she was missing from our posse. It was almost the beginning of class. Speak of the devil. She came running into the room. Breathing heavily, while laughing. I raised my eyebrow at her, but none of us moved from our spots. She probably did something stupid.
"Hey, guys. What's up?"she breathed. She walked over to us, still giggling. I kept my eyebrow raised and crossed my arms under my breasts. I looked at her expectantly. She looked at me and started to burst out laughing. I opened my mouth to say something, but the teacher decided to come in at that time. 'Oh great, we have a sub,' I mused.
"Please settle down and take your seats," commanded the teacher. We obeyed and sat at our assigned seats. She wrote her name on the white board and started to take roll.
"Correct me if I say your name wrong or if you go by something else," she told us. The was calling us out by our seating arrangements and not in alphabetical order. Somehow, my friends and I were all in the same row. I glared at Bailey. Silently telling her that we were till going to talk about the previous subject. She bowed her head. Averting my icy gaze, while trying to hold back snickers.
"Felicia Fletcher!"
"Here!"yelled Felicia. I grinned at how she has a double letter name.
"Bailey Larns!"
"Here!"
"Jia Zhuo!"
"Here!" Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. Jia is the only one in our group that isn't American. She's Asian. Our adorable and innocent little Asian. We spoil her and try to keep her as pure as possible.
"Jordyn Waylon!"
"Here!
"Ilithyia Shian!" I sighed. She pronounced my first name wrong.
"Here, but it's pronounced Ill-ith-thee-ya. And I go by Lia." She blushed and corrected herself, before moving on. I rolled my eyes and slouched in my seat. This day is just destined to be horrible.
