Every morning at 4:00, Ashley Ryans gets up and goes to work at a coffee shop. She has to be at work by 5:30, and her shift ends at 9:30. It was about 6:30 that morning, when she met someone special.

“Next.” I say, as the next person in line comes forward.“Small coffee please.” He said, as he hands me a 10 dollar bill.
“You know, your eyes are just the perfect shade of blue.” He said.
“Thanks. And your eyes are just the perfect shade of green.” I said, looking at his eyes.
“Thanks. Would you maybe, like to continue this conversation later?” he asked, looking for a straight answer.
“Yeah, I’d love to. I’ll be right back.” I said, as I walk to the back, and write my name and number, on his coffee cup.
“Here you go sir. Have a nice day.” I said as I give him his coffee.
“Thanks, you too.” He said, as he walks out the door, and I continue my shift.

Once I get my coffee, I walk outside to my best friends.“Took you long enough.” My friend Logan said.
“I met this really cute girl in there.” I said as all three of my friend look directly at my cup, on one certain place.
"So cute, that she gave you her number.” My other friend Carlos said.
“Wow.” I said, as I stare at her number on the side of my coffee cup.
“Let’s go dude, or we’re gonna be late.” One of my friends, James, said as we get back on the bus.

In 15 minutes, my shift ends. And, seeing that we have no more customers coming in until 11:45, I
go to the bathroom. When I get in there, I take out my phone, and when I do, a small piece of paper
falls out. It’s a note that says:Hey, again. Just so you don’t freak out, im the guy from the coffee shop, that said your eyes were
just the perfect shade of blue. I did this when you were in the back. We should hangout sometime,
or maybe I could take you out later tonight, my treat. Let me know what you think.
Here’s my number: **********. Call me later.
Xoxo, Guy from coffee shop this morning.
P.s. My name is KendallAt the bottom was his number.
My first thought was, how could he write all of that, in just a matter of seconds and/or minutes? Maybe he thought he was gonna meet someone special, and kinda wrote half of it? I don’t know…
I put his number in my phone, and go back outside. Seeing the clock that says 9:25, I ask the manager if I could get off 5 minutes early, and she said yes.I go to the back to get my stuff, and walk to the front, to clock-out, and walk outside to my car and leave. Right when I get to a stop light, my phone starts to ring, but I don’t touch it. When the light turns green, I drive until I’m able to find an empty parking lot, and look at my phone. When I do, it a text from that certain person.Hi Ashley. I got your note from my coffee cup. I waited a little bit, until I was able to text you. What did you think about my note that I left? - Ken
I thought about the note for a second, before responding;
Hi, Kendall. I loved your note. But how did you manage to write all of that in matter of seconds? But, yeah, other than that, I loved the note. Thanks. - Ash
I leave the parking lot, and drive home. Once i get home, i unlock the door, and go inside.

Yes, i'll admit it. I'm in love with the girl i met this morning at the coffee shop. There, you happy? Ive been thinking about her non-stop. The guys on the other hand..."Dude, Kendall! Come on. Stop thinking about Ashley, and focus." Carlos said.
"That's the problem. I can't." I said. Her eyes are the perfect shade of blue, just like i said to her in the coffee shop.
