Zach was a lonely eighteen-year-old. Though Zach was very normal, his only major flaw was that he constantly saw things that weren't there. At least people say it wasn't there. Zach had the ability to see paranormal beings that were invisible to the normal human eye. He was even put in a mental institution one time. He lives alone in a small cabin somewhere in the woods.
One windy day, Zach was wondering around in the woods when he saw a young girl. She was almost transparent. She was wearing all white clothing and her hair was as white as snow. She turned and stared at him. Her eyes were transparent and her skin was the same. She almost looked like she was made of the wind that always blew. She gave him a smile and was blown away with the wind. He was sure she wasn't real, that she was just a hallucination.
He just brushed it off and went back to his cabin, but when he went to bed that night, he saw the young girl outside his window with her back to him. She turned around and saw him. She gave him a warm smile and blew away.
By now Zach was sure he was hallucinating, though he wished he wasn't. He was so lonely in the woods. No one ever talked to him because he was labeled "insane".
The next morning he ate breakfast and went outside. He sat on his porch and stared out into the woods. Again, he spotted the girl with her back turned. She turned to face him and gave him a warm smile. This time right before she blew away he smiled back.
He decided to take a walk hoping to see the girl again. He was just about to give up when he saw her again. When she turned around and smiled he smiled back. She started to blow away and he called, "Wait! Don't go!"
She smiled and blew a kiss as she was blowing away.
Zach wondered why she always blew away right when she smiles. The next day he saw her again. She smiled and held out her hand and Zach stepped forward, taking her hand in his. The wind blew.
Zach was reported missing a week later. He left no trace. His footsteps stopped in the middle of his front yard. No one ever saw the girl when they searched for him. But they did report hearing what sounded like a boy and girl laughing.
