The Mystical Guardians.

CHAPTER 1

Another bad day woken by the sounds of the usual fights.Mom screaming at the top of her lungs,telling dad to go live with his mistress.

I looked in the mirror,my eyes swollen from all the crying I did.It hurts that Nen just dumped me just like that,no explanation whatsoever.

I was hurt literally,I felt like my heart was going to fall right out of my chest when he said "I don't love you anymore" .

I was lonely,petrified,having more sucidial thoughts than ever.My screaming parents certainly did not eased the pain.

I pulled a scissor from the drawer and starting cutting my long wavy hair that reached upto my hips.

Yes,I was having my Britney Spear's moment.I made it short,so short no one could grip it if I was fighting.
Except decided to keep a few long strands in the front.For style you know.

I put on my school uniform and an old brown hat to hide my frustrated haircut from my parents.

'Muvung why are you so late again in waking up?' Mom screamed at me while placing my breakfast at the table.

Yes "Muvung" thats my name.Mom used to lovingly call me "Mu Mu" but sadly that does'nt happen anymore.

"Useless as your father" she murmured.

"She is your daughter!" Dad shouted back while slamming his fist on the table .

I tried holding back my tears and  finished my breakfast to leave for class.

I hated them but also loved them.

And no,I am not their only broken child.I have a brother who left home or should I say 'ran away from home'.
The last thing he said was

"Mu Mu I can't take this anymore,I love you.Takecare of yourself.If I get a job and I will be back for you".

That was when I was 14 years old,now I am 18.

Class was no better place for me.
Since Nen and I were in the same class.

"Mu great hairstyle" My friend Ally complimented while braiding my few strands of long hair.

"Thanks" I replied,I could'nt even put on a fake smile.

I could see Nen staring at our side,I stared back at him and he lowered his head.He could'nt even face me.

"Forget about him Mu,you are so beautiful.You can get any guy" Nizo said while tying her  brown long hair in a bun.

She was trying to calm me but I just wanted to punch her .

Yes,I knew that she  was a fake friend who did'nt really cared about my feelings.

Ally told me all about the secret hookups between Nen and Nizo.How they were into each other.It hurt more that one of my closest friend and my boyfriend were flirting.

I sat there quietly,not trying to upset anyone.That was me and I hated myself for being a coward.

After dinner,I walked up to the terrace of our 5 storey apartment building. I stood at the edge.Looked up at the sky full of stars,feeling the cool summer breeze.

This was it,I will jump away from all my parents drama,fake friends,fake love and away from my coward self.

I encouraged myself to jump but could'nt do it. Then suddenly someone tapped me on my shoulders,I looked back and lost my balance...I closed my eyes..I was falling..falling..this was it..my end...

I opened my eyes,heaven or hell?.
I saw a skinny boy wearing thick glasses infront of me.

"Sorry,I tapped you" He cheekily said .

"Am I dead?" I asked while trying to stand up. I realised I was still at the terrace.

'Did'nt I fell down?" I questioned this stranger.

"I kind of saved you between my name is Kev" He smiled mischievously.

"What?how?" My head still trying to figure out this scenario like Ugghhh.

"You Miss,my dear is the daughter of the wind and you can't give up so easily". He said while pushing my head with his pointed index finger.

I roughly smacked his hand and shouted "you are not making sense!".

"You are a guardian,with wind element as your spirit.And I am shape shifter" he explained.

"What?" Still trying to comprehend around what he said.

"Will it help if I turn into a puppy now?" He said and shifted into a cute puppy .

Okay I was taken aback.Maybe I screamed or shrieked abit. He turned backed into his human form.

"Understood?" He smirked

"Okay okay" I inhaled and exhaled deeply.

"I need to sleep over this" I uttered.My hands strecthed out trying to keep him away from me.

"Sure dear,just remember you are the  daughter of the wind" he smiled and  jumped off from the edge of the building.

I screamed and ran towards the edge .I saw him transformed into a bird and flying away. .
