Brothers Forever

Chapter 4

Morning came soon Sky was the first to rise, she made her way to the dojo...her mind was racing with questions. How did Vincent survive? Will this fight ever end? Are they going to win....or would they lose? The female dragon sighed as she slid into a fighting stance...those questions looped over and over again as she ran through several katas.

Leo was the next to wake...he walked to the kitchen and started making himself some tea, once he had it going he could make out the faint sound of metal snapping through the air. The male turtle shook his head before pouring himself and Sky a cup of tea, Leonardo made his way to the dojo and low and behold sky was training with her katana.

Sweat formed beads on her pale scales as she swung her sword with great skill...she flips and landed in a crouch sending out a strong strike before straightening up. The eldest female turned to the door where Leo stood holding two cups of tea.

The blue clad turtle smiled warmly and handed sky the cup while he sipped the other...she took the cup with a nod of thanks and sipped the warm liquid. The dragon looked at the turtle and sighed "Leo how do you think Vincent survived...you said you killed him with your own two hands how is he back?"

The eldest turtle shrugged "He came back from the dead once but I'm not sure how he came back again....all we can do is kill him again and pray that he dies for good this time." The female dragon just nodded before sipping her tea once more, they stood in silence for what felt like an eternity that is until they finished their tea.

Sky offered to take Leo's cup which he thanked her before handing her the cup, silently Sky left the dojo walking to the kitchen to clean out the cups when a sharp pain emitted from her shoulder. The tea cups slipped from her fingers as she clutched the wound, she could feel the fresh stream of blood leaking from the stitched gash.

Leo having heard the cups shatter rushed out of the dojo and over to sky, concern over took his features and when he looked to her shoulder his eyes widened. The blue clad turtle scooped sky up into his arms and ran to the lab sitting the female dragon onto a cot.

Sky clutched her reopened wound her eyes closed trying to push back the pain, blood ran through her fingers and down her arm dripping from her elbow. Leo began to remove the old stitches from her shoulder quickly cleaning the wound before restitching it.

Sky nodded her thanks her face still showed some pain but not as much as before, the blue clad leader smiled slightly but his smile fell as the sound of running could be heard. Before either knew what was happening the three younger turtles burst through the lab doors weapons at ready.

Donnie looked around and his eyes landed on sky and Leo, "What happened we saw blood and broken glass outside the dojo?"

The female dragon stood from the cot and looked to the brainiac and smiled "You do not have to worry, I just tore my stitches but everything is alright now." Donnie walked over to sky and looked at the stitches before nodding.

Leo and Sky turned to the three younger turtles and smiled, the female dragon crossed her arms over her chest "Alright now let's get to training," the two eldest left the lab swiftly with the younger turtles following.

The five mutants soon made it to the dojo, sky and Leo watched at the three younger turtles started to warm up for training....the two eldest began to discuss the plan for attack and their theories on how Vincent survived.

After a few minutes the younger turtles were ready to start training....the eldest guided them through some simple katas before upping the ante, a few hours passed and the younger turtles were exhausted having worked extremely hard for one day and were resting on the side lines.

The female dragon and blue clad leader continued to train, they were currently sparring each other....both moved swiftly at great speeds. They took a stance that was unfamiliar to the younger turtles, they each had their right foot in front and their left hand behind their back....they gripped the hilt of the katana in their right hand before charging.

Their weapons clashed but neither gave up, their stances remained strong as they pranced around each other sending out seemingly impossible strikes....but what made it even cooler to watch was they managed to block every attack the other sent out.

They moved like a well oiled machine each pivoting their feet in order to counter an attack or to send one out, the two eldest each had a look of determination etched into their features. The three younger turtles watched with awe as their older brother and his companion sparred like none other.

Their movements were swift and strong, both were lethal having killed many men in order to survive. The thing that scared the three younger turtles was that Leo and sky each had a murderous glint in their eyes as they sparred....of course they knew the two would never want to harm the other but still it just showed that they didn't have a problem with killing.

Soon the match came to a draw....both the female dragon and male turtle were panting but they both wore a smirk of victory. They knew neither won but that didn't matter because they knew they both could defeat Vincent and his men with the help of the three younger turtles.

Since breakfast was neglected the five mutants soon fixed lunch and ate peacefully, the three younger turtles thinking about nothing in particular but the two eldest each shared the same train of thought.

Sky's POV:

I promise to the Homato clan and to all of the innocents that have fallen by Vincent's hand.....

Leo's POV:

That no matter what happens to me in battle I will not fall until Vincent lay dead at my feet.....

Sky's & Leo's POV:

This I swear on my very life Vincent and his men will be eradicated!
