Chapter 5/Jack rescues Ash

Stoick

I woke up and groaned, "Oh, what just happen?" Dad said, "You kinda fainted after we told you about you have to fight Pitch alongside the Guardians." "Oh. Sorry that you guys have to see that. That was embarrassing." Jack laughs, "Ah, don't worry about it, Tobias. You should've seen your dad fainted when he found out he was part of the Big Four, he didn't take it all that well. So, um, who's that girl you came here with?" I totally forgotten about Pitch's Nightmare Horse attack on Ash. "Oh, her? That's my girlfriend, Ashley Jorgensen, but everyone calls her "Ash" for short. We kinda saw Pitch earlier." "You what?" Dad said, in total shock, "What you do?" I rubbed my head, "I didn't do anything, but Ash, she did something all right. She attacked Pitch and she was hit by one of the Nightmare Horses." Jack said, getting his staff, "I'm going to go inside her mind and save her." I looked at him, "Uh, just curious, How you going to do that?" Jack reassures me, "Don't worry, Sandy is the Sandman Guardian, he can put anyone to sleep and go inside people's dreams. He'll just put me to sleep and poof, I'm in Ash's dreams. Piece of cake." I said, looking at Ash, "I hope you know what you're doing, Frost." 

Jack

I looked at Stoick, I know that he's worried about his girlfriend, and since I'm a Guardian, it's my duty to make everyone safe from Pitch's work. I took a deep breath and I said, "I'm ready." Sandy put his dream magic on me, and I was knocked out. I looked around and I see a lot of things. "Whoa." I muttered. I searched for Ash. She must be around here somewhere. Her nightmares were worse than I ever seen. In her nightmare, she was cornered and her boyfriend was coming towards her. "Ash!" the dream Stoick said, running. "No, Stoick, don't!" I saw that he was shot, and he was hurt. "Ash." I said, realizing that she was in a sleep cage. I flew towards her, and she looks directly at me, scared. "W-Who are you?" She asked. I said, "I'm a friend. Let's get you out of here." I unlocked the cage and we woke up. Hiccup looks at me and said, "Are you all right, Jack?" I nodded, "Yeah, I'm fine, shaken, but fine." Ash said, "S-Stoick?" He embraces her with a hug. "Oh, thank Thor." He said. Then he smacks her on the shoulder. "Ow, what I do?" She asks. He rolled his eyes, "What did you do? You attacked an Guardian, that's what you did. You really got me worried sick, Ash. I thought I was going to lose you! Promise me that you wouldn't do anything crazy like that, ever." She nods, "I will, Stoick, besides, you're the son of the Chief. You handle crazy situations before. Uh, who are they?" 

Ash

I looked around and noticed there were people I didn't know looking at me. I asked Stoick, "Uh, who are they?" Stoick said, "Oh, them? They're old friends of Hiccup. Meet the Guardians, Tooth, Sandy, Bunny and Jack Frost." I was speechless then said, "Wait a second, that's THE Jack Frost, the Guardian of Fun?" Jack said, "Indeed I am, Ash. Stoick told us what happened between you and Pitch Black." I asked, "Pitch Black? Who is he?" Stoick seemed to be uneasy but Hic gestures him to explain. He sighs, "Pitch Black, the one who attack you, is the Boogyman, or once called the Guardian of Fear. The Big Four and the Guardians defeated him a long time ago, and now.... He's back, and more powerful than ever, and he's seeking revenge." I said, getting up, "Then let's find the Big Four and tell them what's going on!" I went towards the door, but Tobias stops me. "Ash, there's something else you should know. Dad said that he's not going to fight Pitch again. In fact, we are the ones destined to fight him." I was shocked, "Wait, you mean..." He nods, "Yeah, we have to face him along with our dragons, but don't worry, we're not going to fight him alone. Jack and the other Guardians is going to help us." "So, basically, everyone is depending on us to save the world from Fear, huh?" Jack shrugged, "If you want to put it that way, yeah." Stoick said, "I think I need a moment to process all of this." He left us and closed the Great Hall doors behind him.
