Remus watched as Sirius smoothed out the letter. He cleared his throat and began to read.
"Dearest Sirius,
I admire you very much and I wanted to meet up by the Room of Requirement tonight at 10 o clock.
Love from Guess Who"
Remus looked down at his fists, realizing he had clenched them while his crush had been reading the letter. Taking a deep breath, Remus shut the door and flopped down on his bed. Sirius had another secret admirer. There was no way Remus had a chance with him now.
Sighing, Remus pulled a bar of chocolate from his side table. Only sugar could make this better.
The door to the dormitory opened and Sirius came in. Remus gasped and the chocolate fell out of his mouth onto his bed.
"Hey, Moons," Sirius said. "Guess what I got?"
"Money?" Remus guessed, knowing he was wrong.
"A stupid love letter," Sirius replied, annoyed. "I like someone though. I don't need a secret admirer."
"You...like someone?" Remus choked out.
"Yeah," Sirius said casually. "Is that weird?"
"Oh, no, no," Remus assured him. "I, you know, was wondering who...."
Sirius blushed and Remus felt a shiver run down his spine. Whenever Sirius was flustered, it made Remus's heart flutter. He just found it adorable in some weird, weird way.
"Remus...well...let me just tell you this first," Sirius started. "I'm bisexual."
Remus smiled appreciatively. "Same," he admitted.
"I mean, I thought I was straight, but, you know, I just started having feelings for this guy," Sirius explained. "He was just...so open, so smart, so sexy..."
Remus's face fell. "So, like, the opposite of me?"
Sirius looked at Remus, confused at his crestfallen face.
"No, actually, Remus," Sirius said slowly. "It is you."
