Minato Namikaze X Reader - Bright Eyes

Chapter 1

"Ugh it's dawn already what....." You looked at the sunlight that started to creep through your curtain and then looked at the clock on the wall. Your face dropped slightly when you saw the time.

"5:20 am... I've been up all bloody night writing this damned report" *mumble* *mumble* "The Hokage better appreciate this shit!" You slammed your pen down onto your desk as you finished up the last sentence and tied the pieces of paper together.

You got ready and looked at yourself in your mirror. You zipped your Jonin jacket up and put your bandages on your ankles, tied your (h/c) up and put your shoes on.

You waltzed back into the kitchen and had to take a double glance at the clock before the actual time registered in your head.

"Oh crap I'm gonna be late!" You yelled as you grabbed your weapon bag strapping it onto your (d/l) and leapt for the door grabbing the report and your katana on the way out and strapping it to your back.

As you got out the door you sprang off of the railing outside of your house and landed lightly on the ground. You then sped off to the third Hokage's office.

"Thank you (y/n), that will be all for today. You're dismissed".

"Yes lord third".

You bowed, turned and walked out of the door making a huge sigh of relief once you were out of the room.

"God I hate doing that" you groaned as you wiped your eyes and yawned.

"Looks like someone pulled an all nighter again".

You jumped slightly at the voice which suddenly came from behind you which almost made you stab yourself in the eye with your thumb.

You span round and gave the man a death glare. "Where on earth did you even come from!?" You questioned him loudly.

The blonde smiled and chuckled putting his hands up in defence, "I'm called The Yellow Flash for a reason you know".

You sighed and turned back around beginning to walk away and Minato kept pace with you.

"Have you forgotten already?" He looked at you as you walked down the curved hallways of the building.

"Forgotten what?" You looked up at him confused.

"I'll take that as a yes then haha... You said you'd help me with my team today". He stated.

You mentally face palmed. How could you forget that! "Damn it (y/n)! What is wrong with you today!? Other than being over tired and stuff..." You yelled at yourself in your thoughts.

"Oh my god Minato I'm so sorry! I completely forgot, Is that why you're here now?"

"Yeah. You didn't show up at where we agreed to meet so I thought something might've been wrong so I used the kunai I gave you to find you".

Your mouth formed an 'oh' shape at his words and you apologised again and he told you repeatedly that it was fine.

"You still want to come? I mean you should probably go home and sleep bu-"

You cut him off because otherwise you would've been there for ages. "of course I'll still go with you Minato"

He smiled at you and then nodded "great".

You both got to the training area and Minato's team were already there waiting. Rin looked up from where she was sitting and spoke to the other two and they looked over.
