[Rosalynn Marie]
My pulse was racing and I could feel my whole body pounding. Louis gave me a slight squeeze before lifting me slightly from his torso, face contorting in worry because tears continued to rush down my face. Lifting the pad of his thumb to my cheek, he wiped a tear of my face as a whimper emitted from my mouth.
"Hey, why are you still crying?" Louis asks gently, brushing a stray hair off my forehead. I shook my head, trying to focus on my Converse, clearly slightly embarrassed. "I'm right here, I'm not going anywhere."
"I know, but I have to go," I rushed out, jolting back to reality. I wriggled out of his grasp, trying my best to ignore the pained expression that had settled upon his face.
"Why? Why can't we be okay again?" He asked, each syllable more frustrated than the other. "I want this back again."
"Louis, my father hates you," I said as he winced. "He knows how much pain you caused me and he would kill both us if he knew this even happened. He actually thinks that fame has affected your ego."
"Bullshit,"
"I know," I assured. "But we ended on horrible terms and he still hasn't forgiven. Hell, I didn't even forgive you up until now. And Jason-"
"What bum you brought with you?" He said through gritted teeth.
"Don't push it," I warned. "I told him about...us..and our past. And he basically wants to beat the shit out of you."
"I'll take him, any day, any time. For you," Louis promised. I frowned.
"I know Louis but I kinda like Jason and-"
"You, what?!" Louis almost shouted. I silently pleaded him to quiet down.
"Louis, I'm sor-"
"But you love me,"
"It's kind of hard to love someone who would leave you just life that after you're asleep for a week," I snapped.
Louis groaned before pushing his fingers through his hair angrily. With a thorough shake of his head he flung the door open, storming out of the bathroom. I stood there, a bit shocked for a second before gathering my thoughts and rushing after him.
"Louis," I called his name out repeatedly before grabbing his wrist and spinning him around. "Can you just-"
I was cut off with the surprise of him crashing his lips onto mine. It took me a second to react before I responded, feeling as if a million pounds have been lifted from my chest, white hot pleasure raching through my veins.. Louis placed his hands on my hips, pulling me closer till I could feel his hip bones brushing onto mine in the places that weren't covered by his fingers..
A small moan of pleasure escaped my lips as his teeth gently sucked on my bottom lip before lifting again as his tongue slipped into my mouth. My fingertips tugged at the ends of his caramel locks before my placing my fingertips on the skin of his neck. His hands slipped under my thighs as my legs flew up to lock around his waist.
He positioned so my back was pressed against the wall. I pulled away for a second to catch my breath before placing a slight kiss on top of his nose and returning to the familiar comfort of his lips. The smile on his face made it all worth it.
"So, are you guys are back together?" A small voice asked. We both broke away, the familiar panic building up in my chest. We looked down to see small Macy, her party hat tilted to the side of her head. Her big eyes held confusion but a small smile played on her lips, for reasons unknown.
"N-No, um, Macy we aren't," I confirmed. I slip off of Louis as he backs away. I crouched down to her height. "We aren't going to date again and you can't tell anyone about this, not mommy or daddy or anyone. Understand?" She nodded, although I could see why she was confused.
I smiled at her before placing a swift kiss on her cheek and looking up. I frowned slightly as Louis was nowhere to be seen but quickly replaced it with a smile as I looked back at Macy. Taking her hand in mine, I walked us downstairs. Macy bolted away at the simple call of one of her little friends as my eyes scanned the sea of party-goers for Louis until I felt fingers lightly graze my hip bone. I spun around and came face to face with Jason.
"Hey," He said with a goofy smile that make my chest warm. "What happened? That bloke was chasing you and I was about to follow but your dad didn't let me."
"Oh, that was Louis," I said as Jason's expression turned dark.
"That idiot that cheated on you? What did he say to you?" Jason demanded. I felt a weird wave of anger surge through me but tried my best to brush it aside.
"Nothing, really," I replied, trying my best to keep my tone neutral. "We're okay now, we just cleared a few things." Liar, my subconscious hissed.
"Okay, as long as you're okay," Jason confirms as a smile spreads across my face and I lightly nod.
"Yes, I am fine," I assure, a slight giggle escaping my lips. Oh gosh, the things I did around him. "You are so protective!"
"What can I say, people take advantage of pretty girls like you," He teased as we walked outside. The sun had disappeared behind a cloud but it's powerful rays still shone, even if it was a bit dully.
Jason and I took to talking about whatever came to our mind. After a while of laughing and throwing a few chips at each other, our excited expressions quickly disappeared as Louis approached us, the blond wrapped tightly in his arms. I stood up straight from my previous position as Jason stretched his arm around my waist, bringing me closer to him. I gladly pressed our side together slightly, smirking when Louis' jaw clenched and his eyes darkened.
"Hey Rose," the fake happiness in his tone almost made me gag.
"Louis, this is Jason. Jason, Louis," I introduced. They briefly shook hands as I brought my lips to Jason's ear.
"Play nice," I whispered, quickly masking it with a small kiss.
"And this is Lexi," Louis gestured to the blonde as she smiled, a bit evilly in my opinion, but a smile nonetheless.
"Hi," I mumbled, trying my best to give a real smile back but I bet it looked like I was trying way too hard.
"Anyways, I was wondering," Louis started. I saw Louis' fist start to clench as I put my head on Jason's shoulder. On the bright side, I could basically feel Jason smile. "If you two want to come to my place tomorrow night. It's a party, a ton of people are gonna be there. It'll be fun."
"I'm up for it," I said, looking up at Jason who returned a surprised look. "Jason?"
"Er, I guess so," Jason muttered, flashing them a fake grin.
"Wonderful! See you two tomorrow night," Lexi exclaimed as Julia popped out, asking us to come in for cake. Everything about that exchange seemed particularly fake.
"Well, we're in for a hell of a ride," Jason stated as I laughed.
"Yes, yes we are," I replied.
