"the name's Charming babe, don't wear it out"

Known as The Prince on the track field and Charming off of it, Christopher Charming can't remember the last time anybody called him by his actual name. He has practically forgotten that the name Christopher is a part of his existence, buried under his track medals, running shorts, and impressive collection of unopened love letters. And somewhere under that pile, next to his forgotten name, is his forgotten identity as well.

"i'm Ella--just Ella"

Ella is the girl you accidentally bump into in the hallway and don't think twice about. You barely deem her worthy of a mumbled apology, even in the face of her genuine one. All 43 muscles in her face are so used to forming a permanent smile, that they have forgotten how to do anything else. She smiles as her step-sisters call her names, she smiles as she completes the house chores her step-mother neglects, and she smiles as she looks after the drunken boy at his own party.

Once upon a time, there was a drunken boy who was human before he was charming and a soft-spoken girl with an even softer heart, and their whispered secrets in the dead of the night marked the beginning of a happily ever after.
