Ross's POV

How could Max do this to me? First he stole Selina (idk okay?!?!) now Amber? I can take this anymore! I sob, hard, until I hear a soft knock on the door. "Ross, buddy you okay in there?" It's Adam. I sniffle, then wipe my eyes and open the door. "It's okay, here, come with me," Adam leads me into his room, then sits me down on his bed and starts rubbing my shoulder. "Listen, buddy I'm not good at this stuff, but if you want, I can get Alesa?" I shake my head. "N-No, I'm fine, I-I just got a text from my m-mom," I pause," M-My dad is d-dead," I break into full tears now. It was true, I had just gotten the text last night, but it's sinking in now. "Oh my Ross, why don't you take a break, or go home for a while, don't worry, we'll upload prerecord end videos," I nod my head. I would go home for a few days, that sounds nice. "O-Okay Adam, thank you b-but can you tell everyone what's wrong? I-I don't think I can manage to say it again." "You sneak out the door, I'll tell them what happened, okay?" "O-Okay t-t-thank you Adam." "It's okay buddy," Adam says it with a smile, but I can tell it's as fake as the one I'm doing right now.

Max's POV

Adam told us what happened. I hopped in my car without saying a word to Ross. I knew he needed time. I drove him home without a word, and then I went to IHOP, got him his favorite meal and a bar of chocolate. I put it outside his door for him to discover later. I then got a text from an unknown number 'Hey, how's Ross doing?' I quickly text back 'Who the h**l is this?' 'Amber, duh! We swapped #'s last night, but I can see you didn't put in mine' I smiled at her text, then responded and put my phone away. I went on Netflix, found Ross's favorite anime, then turned it up.
